Thomas and Alex quickly grabbed their favorite things and ran to the nearest lifeboat. Thomas picked up Alex and put him in before getting in with him.

The lifeboat began to float away. The Titantic began to sink.

It was the last lifeboat left. Thomas and Alex were the only ones on it. Alex's teeth shook as he curled near Thomas. The taller boy took off his coat and gave it to Alex.

"Are we going to be okay?" Alex asked nervously, looking up at his boyfriend.

"Of course, sweetheart. Don't worry yourself, m'kay?" Thomas whispered, kissing Alex's lips softly.

"'Kay." Alex replied when he pulled away.

~~~
The other lifeboats had gone a different way. Alex was asleep in Thomas's lap, his eyes closed and his breathing quiet. He looked absolutely adorable, but Thomas was worried.
Alex began to stir and got up.
"Tommy?" He asked, slurring his words from tiredness.
Thomas looked down at Alex.
"Yeah?"
"Are we okay now?" Alex looked so adorable, but there was a small chance that his adorable little face wouldn't survive. It was cold and Thomas was going to catch a cold.
"I don't know." He replied truthfully, smiling softly at tired Alex.
Alex sat up and gave Thomas back his jacket, smiling.
"You deserve to live, love. Take the jacket."
In the next few days, Alex fell extremely ill.
~~~

Alex sat on the corner of the raft, coughing up dried blood and other... things. Thomas looked over at his boyfriend, sheepishly. There was a small dot in the distance, but would they survive that long?

Who knows.

"Alex? Are you okay? Someone is coming to get us? Okay?" Thomas question.

Alex just nodded, making a small whimpering noise. He had stayed away from Thomas to keep him from getting sick, but it was torture for the taller one.

"O-Okay." He finally whispered as the dot grew bigger.

The two sat like that as the dot got bigger. Finally, Alex spoke again.

"If I die-"

"Stop it." Thomas commanded immediately, looking sharply at Alex.

"-just know I love you." Alex finished.

"Alex. I know and you won't, m'kay? Just don't worry about it."

"Okay."

"I love you, too."

"Okay."

Thomas looked back at the growing boat and listened to his boyfriend's sharp inhales and sniffles. The inhales and sniffles stopped after a bit, meaning Alex had probably fallen asleep.

The boat finally grew large enough for Thomas to jump up and wave his hands around.

He did so and the boat became coming towards him. Thomas picked up Alex and whispered into his ear.

No reaction.

"Alex?" He shook his boyfriend.

No reaction.

"Alex?!" Thomas screamed. He placed his hand against Alex's heartbeat.

No pulse.

Alexander Hamilton was gone.
