Alex sat on his floor, clutching his flipphone and boyfriend, Thomas Jefferson.
"I don't have money to pay the rent..." Alex mumbles into Thomas's jacket, unconsciously taking his wrists and beginning to scratch them lightly. Thomas didn't notice.
"Alex, it's okay," Thomas's voice filled the silence, "We'll get it someday, even if they take away all our stuff and try to kick us out. We'll fight for it, okay?"
