My next customer is sitting in the black chair. He has long hair with dents where ponytails probably were. He's texting on a phone and I can tell he's wearing a suit underneath. He's pretty freaking cute, actually. I blush as I grab my hair cutting equipment and walk over to him.

"What will it be today?" I ask him, beginning to do his hair with special products and my brush that just got washed (we don't do lice).

"Just a trim. I need my split-ends to be cut off." He says, continuing to text.

I hate customers like him. Those who ignore my extistance and make the hair cutting awkward since I'm kind of restricted with small talk now. I try not to look at people's phones... but I can't help it.

The person he's talking to is named 'Charles' so I assume it's a guy. Charlies greets Alex (who I assume is my customer) and Alex greets him back. Charles then says, 'I'm happy with the way the last pie turned out.' And Alex is agreeing and their conversation is going back to politics, which I assume has something to do with Alex since he speaks like he knows all.

And all of a sudden, just as I finish looking at his texts, he turns around and looks at me. The chair swivels over and his face is practically touching my chest.

"Snooping at my messages?" (no papa)

"No, of course not," I laugh nervously, "I like pies!"

He sighs and turns around in his chair. I continue the cut and he places his phone down.

"Say, you like pies?"

"Mhm." I answer, wishing I had never said that in the first place. But maybe Alex makes pies, it'd be nice to go to his house since he's so adorable.

"What kind of pies?"

"Strawberry." I say confidently.

"Hmm..." He looks thoughful for a moment as I begin to trim his hair like how he wanted it.

"What's on your mind?" I ask.

"I have a favor to ask of you."

"What's up?" My heart is beating in my chest so fast, I may have a heart attack.

"Come here."

He hopes off the chair since he's so small and leads me to the corner of the store. He gets on the tip of his toes to whisper into my ear, "Say, can you kill for me?"

My mouth drops open, but the look on his face... It's adorable. (veronica and jd vibes ehhhHh)

It's so pleading with me and then... he pecks me on the lips.

"Yes!" I say instantly.

"Great." He takes off the silk coat. His haircut isn't over, but he walks out of the hair salon with wet hair only trimmed by around a centimeter. He looks fine.

What have I done?

My next customer is a girl. She has long black hair down to her waist and is wearing a green dress. Blue tights decorate her legs and a jean jacket covers her arms. I walk over to her, realizing... should I kill this girl?

"What will it be today?" I ask her, placing down my razor and touching the knife in my pocket. No one else is in the salon, everyone went home. Even Vanessa, one of our best workers. She's moving out soon.

"Down to my shoulders, please. Can you hurry, too, please, I have play rehearsal."

"Of course, ma'am." I say.

She sits waiting patiently as I begin to brush her hair.

After a few minutes though, back on her phone. That's when I take the long, slender knife and slit her throat. Her eyes are wide as her head falls out and blood spurts everywhere.

I've done it.

~one month later~

I arrive home from work to Alex happily baking in the kitchen.

"Hey, love." I mumble to him, wrapping my hands around his waist and laying my head on his head.

He giggles, mixing up the human flesh in the pot, "Hi, angel." He takes a spoonful of the flesh and puts it to my mouth. I gladly chew it, holding back a smile until I'm done.

"It's amazing," I smile finally, "But can't your cooking wait? I'm tired. I killed five people today."

Alex turns off the stove and turns to me, pinning me to the fridge right next to us.

"Aw, my angel has been good."

I smile as he reaches in to kiss me.

"I wuv you." I mumble.

"I wuv you, too."
