"Movie night," Lafayette declared, throwing down the pizza boxes on the coffee table. Behind him, Hercules screeched.

"What the hell, Laf?! You're gonna ruin the freaking pizza!" Hercules screamed, opening the pizza boxes. Lafayette sat on the couch, rolling his eyes, and pulling Hercules to sit next to him. Once they were both sitting down, Lafayette layed his head on Hercules' shoulder, smilimg.

"Which movie?" Angelica (i just realized i've like n e v e r written about her) asked, coming into the room with her earbuds in and phone in her sweatshirt pocket.

"Titantic!" Another voice declared. Alex, Hercules, Lafayette, Angelica, and I turned around to see John standing in the doorway. Lafayette groaned.

"No. Please, no."

John glared at him, but turned to Hercules, Alex, Angelica, and me hopefully. Alex rolled his eyes muttering, "How can I say no to this."

Angelica shrugged, "I've never watched it."

Herclues laughed softly, looking at Lafayette, "I saw it with Lafayette once and he cried the entire night. It was so adorable." Lafayette looked away, his face red.

Alex looked up at me. I shrugged, "Why not."

Lafayette groaned.

The next and last person bounded into the room. James Madison.

"What movie did y'all pick?" He asked, wrapping an arm around a blushing John Laurens. John looked down, deciding to suddenly take time to examine the oak patterns in Angelica's dorm flooring. James noticed this, smiling fondly at John and then looked back at us.

"Titantic." Lafayette groaned out.

Hercules smiled. Lafayette snuggled into his chest, closing his eyes. Oh, he wouldn't be able to fall asleep once the ship began to sink.

"You guys know this movie is like three hours long, right?" Angelica asked. Alex's head snapped over to her. I sat on the floor, next to the couch. This was going to be a long, interesting night.

"So Lafayette will be able to fall asleep." Hercules muttered. With his face buried in Hercules' chest, Lafayette purred. It was a strange sound, but it signified his happiness.

"That fine with all of you?" Angelica asked.

Everyone nodded and the movie began playing.

Halfway through, I noticed most everyone had fallen asleep. Hercules was still awake, but his mind looked to be somewhere else as his expression was bored and his eyes were on Lafayette's sleeping figure sprawled out in his lap. I looked to Alex and discovered he was awake as well.

I poked his shoulder.

He turned around, "Mm?"

"Are you going to fall asleep?"

I don't know why I asked. Alex is basically an insomniac, why would he go to sleep?

"No, are you?"

I yawned, "Probably. I would love to cuddle you."

He giggled softly, leaning into my arms. I leaned against the couch, wrapping my arms around him as the movie continued playing in front of our eyes, "Well, you'll have to wait until the movie ends to cuddle with you, you stupid idiot." He dished out the insult calmly, kissing my cheek.

I frowned, playing with his hair.

One hour and thirty minutes later signified the end of the movie. Tears fell down the remaining people. Lafayette woke up, Hercules was asleep though. Alex and I were still awake. James had woken up halfway and carried John to the guest bedroom with him. Angelica feel asleep right when the movie started and no one has heard a peep from her once the entire time.

I look down at Alex, wiping away his tears.

"Aw, was that movie too sad for my little insomniac?" I ask. He shoves my hand away, wiping away his own tears and yawning like a puppy. I smiled. He was acting even more cute than usual.

Lafayette, meanwhile, shoved his face into Hercules' chest again to wipe away the tears.

"C-Can I go to sleep?" Alex whispered to me.

"Don't ask." I mumble back.

"But then you'll be lonely..."

"I'll only fall asleep knowing you're asleep, Alex. Goodnight."

Alex let out another yawn, cussed at the TV for making him cry, and fell asleep.

you know what fuck this chapter i watched the sinking scenes in titanic to write and started crying THANKS
