update on this book even though i highly doubt y'all care:

i'll finish the switched au today/this weekend (if i don't fall asleep right now)

i have one chapter besides this planned at the moment, but I'll probably update a bunch on sunday

i had a bad week, so i didn't exactly update as much as i would have loved too. sorry about that, next week is my last week for grades this trimester. so far, even though none of you care, i only have one B+ in oral language (kill me) i have a presentation next friday, so i'm working on that. yeah, um ok you can read the actual chapter now, sorry-

"Goodnight, gorgeous." Thomas whispers to me, kissing my lips swiftly and softly as he began to fall asleep on the other side of the bed. For once, I stayed silent and stayed on my side of the bed instead of snuggling into his body. I hope he didn't notice that I did that.

As soon as I hear his breathing slow down and his feet stop moving, I quietly move the blankets away from. Once they're away and I'm sitting up in bed, I slip away and go to the door. I'm making as little noise as possible, which is actually quite hard for me.

Anyway, I eventually find myself in the hallway of our dorm. I switch to our large living room and open up my laptop, beginning to work.

However, of course, I couldn't just write an essay. I opened Spotify, turning on some songs that I like.

I began to sing and type, letting my voice waft through the air, especially on the high notes. I have a memory of Thomas and I singing together, which is a stupid memory, but I loved it and it made me so happy for the rest of that day. He's really helped me become more happy, like genuinely.

I keep singing until I hear a door slam.

I slap my laptop shut, looking up just in time to see an angry Thomas. I tear out my headphones, placing the laptop on the coffee table as he goes over to me and sits next to me on the couch. His expression is so angry, it could strike fear into the eyes of everyone.

I internally sigh, realizing I would have to take this the only easy way if I didn't want him to be disappointed in me for the next week, "I'm sorry." I mumble.

When he's completely nude except for his pajama t-shirt, he turns to look at me angrily.
