As I finished giving the coffee to a lady in a yellow crop top and black mini skirt, another person came into the shop. I ran to the register. Every other employee had left, but I have too determined to get money that I ran every shift. At first, I didn't pay attention to the man who had just walked in. All I could hear was his footsteps as they got closer and closer to the counter. I cleaned it off and got ready. Finally, I looked up.

My breath caught in my throat.

The man's breath caught in his throat too, but only for a moment. Of course, Alex. You're nothing but ugly. Not dating material for a gorgeous guy like him.

"I'll just have a latte." He said and gave me his card. I smiled. Everything was fine. He pushed his fluffy hair from his face and I got a good luck at him. He was beautiful. Deep brown eyes matched his face and his lips were amazing. I could just imagine kissing them. Or waking up every morning to them near me.

I snapped out of the imagination and took his credit card.

"What's your name?" I ask. It was for the sake of the coffee, so I could put it on the cup. No homo. I wasn't going to ask him on a date with his name or anything, nope-

"Thomas," He responded and stopped before adding, "Jefferson. What's yours?"

I wanted to gasp. Normally a customer didn't ask this, "M-My name?" Of course, I stuttered. Why would I note stutter? "Alexander Hamilton."

"Is that your Twitter and FaceBook, too?" Thomas smiled and leaned down on the counter. He was now on my level.

"Just Alex," I replied. My mouth was dry. I took a step back, "Your coffee will be ready soon, sir."

"Sir? Kinky." With that and on that strange note, he walked to a table in the corner of the store.

I noticed the girl with the yellow crop top had left and her table needed to be cleaned. Grabbing some cleaning supllies, I cleaned it. The other customers in the store weren't paying attention to me, but Thomas kept his eyes on me the entire time. I got nervous. My fingers began to twitch, wanting to fidget. My face got red and I tried to look away. He probably noticed.

By the time I got back to in the kitchen, alone, I was a nervous wreck. Thomas made me so nervous. But he was so cute.

I made his coffee with a blush on my face and a showtune playing in my head. I wonder if Thomas liked musicals. I bet he did. I had just become obsessed with a new musical. It was called Lin-Manuel Miranda. Written by Ron Chernow, lyrics and book. Ron was my child and Lin-Manuel was my inspiration. Even though he lived two hundred years ago. I shipped him with his wife.

Suddenly, I remembered the coffee. Snatching it from the counter after throwing a lid on it, I ran out and walked (slowly) to Thomas's table. Thomas was there, watching me. Of course. I didn't know yet if I liked the way he stared at me or not.

"Here." I whispered, letting my fingers fidget once I had set the coffee down.

Thomas must've noticed because he grabbed them and held them. I only became more nervous.

"Alexander Hamilton," He smirked, "You work too much. Sit down with me."

My breathing began to come out fast. No one was in the shop anymore without coffee. I had served everyone. There was nothing else to do.

I obliged and sat opposite from Thomas, my fingers still wanting to move.

He finally let go of my hands and I grabbed my face and hid it with them.

"So, Alexander..." Thomas whispered, getting closer to me. His breath smelled like coffee, although hadn't taken a sip of his coffee yet. Was there such a thing as coffee toothpaste?

"Hey." I whispered back, not getting any closer. He just made me nervous. More than I had ever been before.

He was cute. Too cute. I didn't believe any human could be so cute.

The way he hid his blushing with his hands, the way his hands fidgetted, even his stutter. Everything he did was adorable. But once he found out how rich I was, he would only stay with me because he wanted money. After all, this boy was obviously poor.

It was worth a shot. I could usually tell if someone was only with me for the money.

"I'm a billionaire." I whispered and came closer to Alexander, whose face shot out from behind his delicate fingers.

"I-I-I'm sorry for bothering you, sir." He got up quickly and I grabbed his arm.

"What?! No, you aren't bothering me," I assured and he slowly came back to his seat acorss from me. I chuckled, "You're cute."

For the first time, Alex looked up at me with eyes that weren't scared.

"You're rich. I'm not. You should not be into me." He whispered and I only came closer in return. Alex was definitely very self conscious, but it only added to his adorableness.

"I love you anyway." And with that, I broke the distance between us with a kiss.

At first, Alex wasn't into it. He whimpered once, telling me to stop without actually saying it. A moment later, after I didn't stop, he kissed back. It was glorious.

He was the first to pull away.

"I'll see you tomorrow."

He walked away to serve another customer.
