"I asked Google and said that if I'm bored, I should go out and eat." I deadpan to Thomas, throwing my phone at him. He catches it too fast for my liking, throwing it back at me as he responds.
"We should go on a date then," Thomas mutters to me, pressing a few things on his phone, then turning his attention to me, "Would you like that?"
"I'm bored not horny." I answer him, throwing my phone again. And once again, he catches it and throws it back to me.
"Not all dates end with sex, Alexander." Thomas looks at me with disappointment.
"Most of them with you do." I wink at him. He glares at me, getting up from the floor, and taking my hand. I look up at him as he pulls me off the bed and out the dorm room door. I sputter random words as he practically throws me into the backseat of a taxi. He gets in front.
I whine, poking his shoulder, "Tommy, I want the front seat."
"Salt and Pepper Diner, please." Thomas responds to the taxi driver instead of me, throwing a smirk my way as the driver begins to drive.
I lay down on the seat, not bothering to put on a seatbelt.
Thomas looks back at me, glaring, "Alex, put on a seatbelt. You'll die."
I shrug, "Good."
He looks away as the driver keeps going. I suddenly realize it's raining outside as I bolt up and poke Thomas again. He looks back at me, glaring, "Yes, Alex?"
"Do you have a jacket?" I ask.
Thomas groans, taking off his hoodie. He hands it to me and I slide it over my head. I fall back down onto the seat.
The driver stops driving the car a few minutes later. I assume he's gotten us to the diner, so I sit up. Thomas pays the driver, thanking him, and getting out of the car. I wait for him to open the back door for me, but he doesn't.
I glare at the window before opening the door for myself and get out.
"Let's go inside," I mumble, "I'm cold."
Thomas glares at me, "You're cold?! I gave you my jacket!"
I shake my hand at him, walking into the diner ahead of him. Thomas does the same thing, but I don't hold the door open for him. We both simply glare at each other. It's a nice, refreshing glare though. I'm used to it.
i'm listening to despacito right now lmao i just thought you needed to know that
"Jesus Christ, look!" I grab Thomas' head, forcing him to face the juke box in the corner. It's one of those juke boxes with screens on them. You pay them money and get to chose what songs play.
I smile devilishly, looking up at my boyfriend.
"What do you want?" He glares at me.
"Seven dollars."
"Even dollar is three plays."
"I need seven dollars."
"That's twenty-one plays," Thomas looks down at me. He looks tired, "What are you planning on doing today, you small idiot?" By now, even with his annoyed look, I can tell he finds my next answer quite amusing.
"A certain song. From a certain musical. Where a certain man cheats on his wife and can't say no to it." I respond, holding out my hand.
Thomas smiles devilishly back at me, taking his hand and putting it in the pocket of his jacket that I'm wearing. He pulls out his leather wallet, giving me a five dollar bill and two one dollar bills. I kiss his cheek.
"Thank you."
I walk up the juke box, picking my songs. I'm on the fourth song when I feel a hot breath on my neck.
I snap my head around, hitting against Thomas' nose. He ignores me, although I begin blushing way too hard when I realize that he's practically pinning me down. I turn back around, watching his chose 'Despacito' as the fifth song.
"Mix it up a little," He laughs a bit into my ear, spinning my around, "By the way..." My face turns red, "I thought you weren't horny?"
I punch him in the stomach as he staggers away.
I finish finishing choosing the songs and sit back down next to me in the table he got for us both. We look at each other knowingly, smiles way too large on our faces. Sure enough, it begins after the current song ends.
"Ah, here we go." I smile.
It plays once. No one has a reaction, until the second play. A few people look around the diner. A third time. People get restless. A fourth time. I see a man drinking a cup of coffee. He looks around, glaring at everyone.
He looks especially annoyed.
I smile.
"So, what do you want to do tonight?" Thomas asks me from across the table, breaking my train of thought.
"Watch anime. Duh-"
"Why can't we go to a club?" He whines.
I glare at him, "I don't like clubs. Random girls with heels on always kiss you. Plus, you always ignore me." I look away, then notice something about the music playing above us on the speakers. It's nearing the end of the fourth song.
Despacito begins to play.
A sigh of relief breaks out through the diner, but only Thomas and I know what's next.
"I won't ignore you this time!" Thomas claims, reaching out to my hand. I let him, rolling my eyes, "I promise! I like beers, clubs are fun. And besides, you always get shy and never talk. It's cute."
Despacito is nearing an end as we continue to argue around going to the club. I smile, shushing him and listening.
The musical song begins to play again. I hear a certain groan come from a specific table and then a loud crash. I turn around, seeing silverware all over the floor. The man drinking coffee gets up from his table, "Wonderful!" He screams.
I giggle, turning to Tommy again, "Fine. Let's go to the club. Will that make my boyfriend happy? Will he stop annoying me after that?"
Thomas looks away, "Let's just go to the club."
I shrug, "Okay."
