When I awake, Thomas is already out of bed. I whine a bit and then see him at the closet, picking out clothes for both of us. When he notices I'm awake, he walks over and kisses me.
"Good morning, Lex." He whispers in my ear.
"G-Good morning, Sir." I pause halfway in between for a cough. Thomas frowns and puts a hand to my forehead, which feels hot. It probably feels hot too, by the look on his face; worry.
"Lex, are you sick?" He asks, pulling away from me a bit.
"N-No." I cough halfway through the sentence again, but sit up anyway. He pushes me back down with one strong hand and raised eyebrow.
"Stay here."
I nod.
"Yes, sir."
