When Alexander gets home, I embrace him. He doesn't blush like usual though and brushes me off lightly. I have decided to write to Angelica about this. She is my sister and helps me through problems. I hope she gives advice on what to do with an Alexander Hamilton who doesn't show love towards me.

My Dearest, Angelica

Alexander came home today a bit later than usual. His cheeks were flushed and his eyes were tired, but loving. Our children were tucked in their beds, resting and dreaming. I went up to him and embraced him in a long hug. The hug had an important meaning to me; to show that I loved him and hoped his day had been good. The moment my hand's began to rest on his back, the loving state he was once in disappeared. I kept hugging him, hoping it would come back and he would surprise me.

It did not.

I am worried for my dearest husband. I seek help from you, as you know him as well as I do. I hope you know about this part of him. Please, as he ever looked at you without love? I wish to know and maybe I can conclude on what is wrong with his feelings. I will help him, whatever it is.

Sincerely,
Elizabeth Hamilton

When I finish the letter, I place it in an envelope. In the doorway as I walk out is Alexander. He has a soft smile on his face and I return it.

"Eliza..." He whispers.

"Alexander..." I whisper back.

"You need rest..."

I nod, placing the envelope in his hand, "Mailbox, please." I saw. He nods. I trust him with my life and know he won't go off reading it. I watch him walk away and then I go to bed.

I place Eliza's letter in the mailbox outside our house, drenching myself in rain. I then go to my office and began to write exactly what no one wants me to write; The Jefferson Pamphlet.
