Baby [All Might x Reader]

"Be safe out there today." You smile as your husband pulls you into a strong hug. "I always am." You roll your eyes at his statement. Yagi always had a knack for getting himself into troublesome situations, but that's the price that came with being the number 1 hero. You had been married for about a year now, but had been together ever since you went to UA together. Your quirk was a simple healing one, but it came in handy with Yagi getting hurt so much.

"Are you sure you're gonna be ok? I know you haven't been feeling well this week.." A worried expression adorns his features but you smile big at him, giving him a thumbs up. "I'm feeling better, don't you worry!" Smiling he gives you a swift kiss, heading out the door to run his patrols. After he shuts the door you rush to the restroom, tossing your breakfast into the toilet.

"That's the third time this week I've been sick.."

As you go to brush your teeth you glance at the calendar, eyes going wide when you realize your period was late. Like, a whole month late. You sigh, cursing yourself for being so forgetful and heading over to the fridge to figure out what you were making for supper. You're greeted with a fair amount of emptiness, raising an eyebrow trying to remember the last time you went to grocery store, realizing it had been some time.

'I know he doesn't like me going out alone, but it won't take me long...'

You think to yourself. Making a short list you head off to the market which was only 10 or so blocks from your humble abode. When you get there you take out your list, looking around for the items you needed. You also grab a pregnancy test, just in case. After finishing up you realized you had gotten a lot more then you originally planned for.

Sighing you grab all the bags, heaving slightly as you lift them and carry them out of the store. It was mid day in the middle of summer, the sun blistering down causing sweat to drip down your forehead. You hadn't gone into Heroing like your husband did. He wanted you safe and you didn't mind, being a stay at home wife was all you ever really wanted anyways.

Suddenly you start to feel woozy, shaking it off as best as you could, knowing you were half way home. But the wooziness wouldn't go away and you feel yourself falling towards the ground. Instinctively you protect your stomach, only to find yourself in a strong pair of arms, glad you hadn't hit the ground.

"y/n???"

You look up into your worried husbands eyes. You smiled sheepishly. "Oh, hey honey..." "What are you doing out here alone??? You could have told me what you needed I would have picked it up on my way home!" He says frantically, grabbing the grocery sacks in one large hand and picking you up gently with his other. In this form his arms were so large you easily used his forearm as a place to sit, leaning your head into his chest.

"Sorry Yagi, I didn't want to bother you...." You grasp onto his chest still feeling dizzy. He looks at you worriedly. "Maybe we should take you to the doctor..."

"I'm fine, really. I just got to hot." He doesn't seem convinced but he takes you home anyways. Placing the groceries into the kitchen he takes you bridal style in his arms, setting you on the bed and changing back into his regular form. "I'll unload the groceries, you res-"

"NO!" You shout, quickly covering your mouth at the outburst. Yagi's eyes widen. "I- I mean, I don't want to keep you from your work for too long. Let me help." "y/n, you just almost collapsed on the side of the road. You really think I'm going to let you-"

You slide out of bed, hustling towards the kitchen, Yagi staring after you bewildered. "H-hey!" He says walking after you. You enter the kitchen, quickly grabbing the bag with your pregnancy test in it and heading to the bathroom. "There, I helped!" You shout as you lock the bathroom door behind you. Your husband stares at the door in total confusion, wondering what had suddenly gotten into you.

Being as quiet as possible you take the test out, reading the instructions carefully and peeing on the stick. You wait the 3 minutes, rocking back and forth gently, intently listening to the noises outside of the bathroom. Hearing Yagi put away the groceries you smile to yourself. You always thought you were extremely lucky to have Yagi by your side, and when he proposed to you, you felt like your life was complete.

As your just about to take a peek at the test you feel bile rise to your throat, throwing up suddenly. You try to clean up but you hear a knock on the door, the knob rattling. "y/n, are you sick again??"

"I-I'm fine Yagi, go back to wor-" Another round of vomit leaves your mouth. "y/n open the door!" Your husband shouts. Fear strikes you as you realize the pregnancy test was still sitting on the counter, but you weren't sure if you could get up in time to grab it. Suddenly the door bursts open, the knob that All Might ripped out lying on the ground.

He goes to your side immediately, moving your hair out of the way. "That's it, I'm taking you to the hospital-"

"No wait." You say, wiping your mouth and standing up, trying to grab the test before he sees it. You feel your fingers glance it but you trip on your own two feet, your stomach dropping as the test hits the floor. You stare wide eyed at the two positive lines.

"What is that- oh....."

Yagi's eyes go as wide as yours, the both of you staring at the positive test in shock. He raises his head, staring into your eyes. "You're..... You're pregnant?"

"I guess... This is the first test I've taken so- AH!"

You're suddenly swept into Yagi's arms as he spins your around, the biggest smile you'd ever seen on his face. "This is WONDERFUL!!!! I can't believe it, we're going to be parents!!!!" You throw you arms around him, hugging him close as he sets you on your feet. "Eeeh, Yagi, no more spinning..." You grab your head, tossing your cookies into the sink. He scratches the back of his head, holding your hair back again. "Oh, right, sorry about that.."

You quickly get cleaned up, smiling at him as he gently takes you into his arms bridal style, heading straight to the bedroom. "W-what are you doing???"

"My little wife needs her rest! You're not leaving this bed until the baby comes!"

"Eeeehh????"
