Ethan's P.O.V
I was skating around the neighbourhood, trying to clear my mind. My earphones were in, as I glide over the concrete. I was heading home and thinking about Carson. She had been acting weird lately. And I heard she's been hanging out with James a lot more. I didn't want to think about it.
As I skated toward the driveway I see a familiar girl standing near it. I hop off and I walk over. She turns around and smiles at me.
"Hey." She says.
"Hey." I smile. "I'm really sorry about after school. I had this thing going on and I just-"
"No, it's okay." She laughs. "I just came to see if you were okay."
I look at her closely. "Yeah, I'm fine."
"You've just been acting a little weird, so I just wanted to see if you were alright."
I shake my head. "No I'm fine. Well, now I am." I smile at her.
"Well you owe me for blowing me off."
I nod. "Ill make it up to you."
"When?"
I look at my watch. 8:36pm.
"Now." I state.
"Now?" She asks.
I nod and I grab her hand. We went a few blocks away, then we reached it.
"Ladies first." I smile.
Hazel laughs and begins to climb. We both reach the top and she smiles at the view.
"This is amazing." She shined.
I move toward the edge as I begin to sit down.
"Be careful!" Hazel exclaims.
I sit down and she crossed her arms.
"You gonna take a seat?" I smirk.
Hazel frowns but then a replaces it with a small smile. She walks over cautiously and takes a seat next to me.
"Wow that's really high." Hazel says nervously.
I grab her and she looks over to me. "It's okay." I assure. "Don't look down. Keep your head up toward these buildings." I point.
Hazel looks up slowly and exhales slowly. "That's frightening."
I laugh. "It's fine."
Hazel rubs her arms as the wind came. I take off my jersey and I hand it over to her. She smiles and puts it on quickly. Her eyes were kept on the city lights. The moon was glistening in her eyes.
I place my fingers underneath her chin and I place my lips onto hers. She moves her hand to my hair as moved in sync. Our lips moved slowly as we pull apart.
"You're really cool, Hazel."
"You're really cool too, Ethan."
