"It's not a matter of time, it's just a matter of timing."
~Timelines, Motion City SoundtrackWeek 1.
First Semester.
Mr. Avedaño: Alright, settle down... Settle down. Is everyone here? Good. Before I get acquainted with you, I'm going to assign you to your groups or since I do respect the democratic processes of the proletariat world, puwede ninyo i-group ang mga sarili ninyo.
Mr. Avedaño: Remember that this group will be your group from now until the end of the semester! Which means, kung pabigat kayo, siguraduhin ninyong may— Yes?
Jake: Sir, Good morning. Excuse me po.
Mr. Avedaño: Okay, Reglos. find a seat somewhere.
Mr. Avedaño: As I was saying, this group will be your group sa klaseng ito from now hanggang matapos ang semester. That also means na aside from your individual grades which make up 60% of your grades, your group performance will determine 40% of it.
Brian: Sir.
Brian: Advincula, Sir.
Mr. Avedaño: Well, Mr. Advincula...
Mr. Avedaño: There you are. Brian, is it?
Brian: Yes Sir.
Mr. Avedaño: What is it?
Brian: Wouldn't that take away too much from our grades? Like 40% is a huge chunk, di ba Sir?
Mr. Avedaño: Allow me to finish. We live in a society, and each society has sub-groups or units that function or are part of the whole. Each of these groups have unique social dynamics that contribute or take away from that society and as such, consider then, this class of ours is a microcasm of that society; and all of you with your cliques and your little groups could represent these various social classes and subcultures. Your groups will each be presented with tasks, scenarios, and will be asked to make critical decisions for the mock scenarios in this class. We will determine the effects and your reactions then compare them to the theories and also studies that have been done before. That is how you will be graded and this is how we will take on Sociology and Anthropology . I'll give you ten minutes to form your groups of four to five members per. After which, we shall proceed to profiling.

Brian: Excuse me, you have a group na?
