McKinley Hill
I've been a little slow this morning. Considering that I had Jake to send off to his first ever go-see, get myself ready, print stuff for submission, and drive all the way to McKinley Hill.
Kelso: I have these signed na. That's all you need, di ba?
I hand Stacy my report for the work I did previously for the agency. Funny how I even got work done that night because that was when Jake and I first shared body fluids on my bed.
Stacy: Yeah. This is more than enough for accounting to process the payments.
Thank goodness. I don't wanna go back just in case may ma-miss ako.
Kelso: Ang hirap na maningil ha. Before, okay na yung PDF sa emails pero this new policy medyo tedious.
It's true naman. Back in the day, all we had to do was send screenshots once we've reached the top trending spot on twitter and some screenshots of the accounts with the most number of tweets and retweets as proof of our work. Now, we have to make a summary report noting some of the diskarte we did during the campaign and may rule pa na actual signature and not digital. I know what you're thinking. Sana I had it delivered by a bonded courier like Lalamove pero I really can't trust these guys with such important documents.
Stacy: Sorry, Kelso. You know naman, because of Miss Bee's new business partner, pati Finance na-revamp. The good news is I have a check for you from an earlier campaign. Yung sa account ni Miss Trina. She made bilin before she left for her meeting.
Kelso: That's good news nga.
Well, at least the drive was worth it. A check is a check.
Stacy: This one naman that you submitted will be available on Thursday or Friday the latest next week. Here's the endorsement form para makuha mo na yung check mo sa finance today.

I take a short walk to the end of the hallway to the Finance and Accounting Department of the agency. I open the door and proceed to the Accounts Receivable section of the office.
Kelso: Hi! I'm supposed to claim this? They told me na it's ready na.
I show her the endorsement form handed to me by Miss Stacy.
Accounting Girl: Yes po. For Mr. del Rosario. Have a seat muna sir, while I pull out your account.
Kelso: Thanks.
She stands and proceeds to a steel filing cabinet just a few feet behind her. I take my seat at one of the cushions near the counter. Dati it was a matter of getting paid by bank deposits now kailangan talaga you pick up your check.
Owen: Wow, may accounts receivable.
I turn to my left where a somewhat familiar voice is coming from. Pag-lingon ko, who else is here but Binatang QuiapOw himself. He's sitting there with his phone on hand, his blue shirt with letters spelling ATENEO in white, and his black fitted jeans paired with Onitsuka Tiger sneakers also gave him away.
Kelso: Oh! What are you doing here?
I ask him.
Owen: Same as you.
He answers with eyebrows raised.
Kelso: Buti na lang they have office kahit half day on Saturday. I don't think I can do this accounting thing pag Mondays to Fridays.
