Miss Me???

Dearest Coñotics,

Hope everyone's doing okay.

For sure, hindi naman lingid sa inyo, that matagal na rin bago ako nakapag-update ng stories here sa Wattpad. To say na naging busy ako this past month or so is putting it lightly —like very, very, very busy talaga na halos sa hotel na ako natutulog during in-between taping days and I fly to and from the Visayas on weekend breaks to check on our business there.

Paano naman, one day, nag-attend lang si author ng meeting; and then the next day may TV series na siya. #Blessed. #KapamilyaNaUli

The weeks that followed have been very intense. Matagal na rin kasing nag-pahinga si author sa makinang at magulong mundo ng showbiz para umuwi sa Visayas at magtanim ng sugar cane and magtinda ng softdrinks. So, medyo hirap si author mag-catch up with the current pace and rigors of taping a teleserye na kahit going online and checking on my social media ay sobrang luxury na.

I feel quite bad nga 'cause pakiramdam ko na Jake and Kelso have been kept hanging all this time —at lalo na kayo— those readers na nakita ko ang messages just now asking me for updates and how I am.

Paciencia na talaga. Even I did not expect na babalikan ko ang mundo na ito. But my gut tells me that the project was the right thing to take on dahil challenge ito for me. Siguro dahil artists like me should not really settle for one thing and as I have learned in the great halls of the blue and white, "We must have an insatiable thirst for the human experience."

So this is me, your author, trying out new experiences. Kayo din dapat because life is about taking the leap and not staying put out of fear or insecurities.

Hopefully, after we move from taping pilot week and into the mansion sequences for our show, may oras na ako para umupo at balikan ang mga characters na minahal ninyo.

Ang haba na ng sinabi ko, talo pa ang SONA. I will take this Sunday to rest —and para maglabas ng Christmas decorations 'cause the Señora is breathing down my neck at nag-rereklamo na dahil wala pa daw Christmas spirit sa aming munting kubo.
