"Where's Barry?" I ask. "I saw him speed in."

"I think, he's  talking to Iris," Cait says.

"T-To Iris? As the Streak? What the hell is wrong with him?" I ask.

"I honestly have no idea," Cait says. Then Cisco and Cait start arguing on some stupid topic. We then start walking to the Cortex.

"Check the math," Cait says. "Your dispersal models don't correlate."

"Uh. They do if your factor is seasonal fluctuations in reproduction cycles," Cisco replies.

"What exactly are we debating?" Dad asks, wheeling next to us.

"The average number of bugs Barry swallows in a day of running," Cisco says. Ah, that's what they're discussing.

"I look forward to seeing you except your Nobel," Dad says sarcastically as we walk into the Cortex. When we walk in we see Barry on the floor. I immediately teleport over to him, check his heartbeat and then get him on a medical bed.

🔥⚡️

"13 fractures. That's a new record, and that's just in your hand," Cait says. "You also have a concussion, three cracked ribs, and a bruised spleen. Even with your powers, you'll need a few hours to heal."

"What exactly did you hit?" Dad asks.

"A big, bad man," Barry says. "His skin changed when I hit him. Like, it turned to metal."

"Interesting. A man of steel," Dad says.

"So you went after a meta-human alone?" Cisco asks. "Dude, why didn't you call us?"

"I didn't know what he was. Besides, I was off duty," Barry says making me scoff. Barry looks at me with confusion but I look away.

"Your lucky he didn't knock out your teeth those puppies don't grow back," Cisco says.

"The strange thing is I feel like I knew him," Barry says.

"What do you mean?" Cait says.

"He said something that was familiar, -but he's gonna hurt someone if we don't stop him, so how am I gonna fight a guy who's made of steel?" Barry asks.

"This would be a perfect time for me to get back on the field!" I say.

"No. Not till you heal. I don't want you hurt again and he will make your leg worst if it doesn't heal properly," Barry says.
