One last time, they drowned me in the liquid and then opened the curtains. I burned, for a while, and still, no wings appeared. I burned so much, that I passed out.

When I woke up, there was no one in the cell. I was uncuffed from the seat and there was water on the floor. I slowly drank the water and then tried to teleport out of the cell. I wasn't able to the first few times, but it soon worked.

I teleported straight into the middle of the Cortex. I couldn't really see anything, but I did notice two new but familiar figures there. Everyone yelled out my name, but I didn't hear any distinct voices.

Just white noise.

Instead the room was spinning and I fell. Before I hit the floor, I feel myself being swept up in someone's arms.

"You're gonna be okay."

My eyes flutter open and I slowly turn my head to the side to see Barry trying to fall asleep on a chair. When he can't he turns his attention to me. When he notices me awake, he speeds over next to me. "Hey," He says.

"Hey," I say as I try to get up.

"Stop," Barry says making me freeze. "Don't. You need to rest."

"But I want to get up," I whined. Barry sighs and moves closer to me. He gently moves his hand under my knees and behind my back.

"What-what are you doing?" I ask.

"I'm helping you sit up," He says, as he picks me up. I shriek and wrap my arms around his neck. Only then, I notice all the burn marks on them. There are less then before, but, my arm is still covered with burn marks. Barry slowly sets me down against the wall on the medical bed as he grabs a chair and sits down next to it. He notices my eyes examining my burn marks and sighs.

"There were a lot more before. You lost a lot of blood. Luckily, we have the same blood type and when we gave you my blood, it- it started to heal your marks," Barry explains.

"Is that even possible?" I ask as he nods. "How?"

"I- I don't know. Caitlin- she said that shouldn't happen," Barry explains. "I- she said it was some kind of reaction. It had something to do with her plasma theory. It was like an electrical shock to your body, and it started to heal you."

"But how can that- Isn't there supposed to be a certain-"

"It only works for us cause our bodies can handle that amount of electrical charge," Barry explains, knowing what I was asking. "I don't know much about it. It's only a theory Caitlin has."
