The herbs she found that day didn't have the necessary effect and her brother was still sick. Because of the need to take care of him, she didn't go back to the woods to look for the boy, but she didn't stop thinking about him for a second.
As the days went on, her brother's health became worse. The village where they lived was small and didn't have a doctor. She had already tried everything, and her last hope was such medicinal herbs... Every night she went out on the porch of the house, after her brother had fallen asleep, and cries, asking the stars for a miracle. The stars, she believed, are the people who have left us and who we still love very much. They will always be up there, guiding us and showing us the right path...
She was already getting up when she heard a melody that almost made her heart stop. She looked around at the dark forest, but there was no one in sight. Then, a little light began to flash. It was small as a button and swinged from side to side. She didn't know for sure what she was doing when she goes after the light, then another one show up, and then another, and another... more and more into the heart of the forest.
The lights seemed to gather at the foot of a large tree... The same tree where she picked the herbs the first time and where... But she didn't have time to say anything more. A wind hit suddenly and someone poked her shoulder, causing her to scream and jump in fright.
