Just a few more seconds and the project of his life would almost be over. Ready for the official tests. His masterpiece: an android capable of protecting all mankind. It would bring peace to the world. Would make the world a better place. "Professor Tokki, it's ready." His assistant, Haru, came to warn him, drawing him out of his reverie.
"The 2.01k-9 Artificial Intelligence Prototype will be the salvation of mankind, Miss Haru." The professor said at a moment when the water in the tank holding the arrested android dropped. "Welcome to life, 2.01k-9!" The android opened his eyes scanning the room. The pre-recorded data on his HD reported who the two people watching him were. Professor Tokki, its creator, and Miss Haru, his assistant.
"Greetings, Professor Tokki and Miss Haru. It's a pleasure to meet you..." The android bowed. "I'm here to serve you." Haru didn't believe how physically that machine looked like a real human being. It was almost scary.
"Very well. Test number one." With that, Professor Tokki plugged in his portable recorder and pretended to attack Haru with a syringe. The girl screamed in alarm and jumped back, knocking some glass to the floor. The android should try to protect her, but just kept staring.
