Obviously, the prince wasn't there. If he was, she would have seen him. She let out a sigh as still stroked the black kitten's fur on her lap. She had been sent to that place, but what now? What would she do there? How could she go to the ball in honor of the prince if she didn't have the right clothes and her invitation had disappeared like the magic that brought her there?

Perhaps she should wait there until the prince returned? But, what if he delayed? What if he didn't come back? What if someone else found her there first? She had to make a decision. She needed to think about what she would do next. The kitten on her lap seemed more impatient as time passed. "I wanted so much that you could talk... So, maybe you could help me find a solution..." She let out another frustrated sigh.

The kitten rubbed its head in her hand one last time and jumped from her lap to the floor, following to a table near the balcony door. He jumped on the table and began to rub his head in a black box decorated with the design of green flowers and gold details. She got up from the bed and approached the little box, taking it in her hands.

She studied the object in her hands patiently and noticed that could open it. As soon as it opened, a soft melody began to play... That was the same melody she listened to in her dreams. And the prince was singing something to her too... Could she remember the lyrics? She closed her eyes and tried to concentrate on the melody. Before she knew it, she was already singing the song she heard in her dreams. Since she was with closed eyes, she didn't notice the magic of his voice twinkling in the air and illuminating everything. But... singing like this ended up attracting the attention of the guards...
