The music she sang created magic with every word. The kitten had closed its eyes too and seemed mesmerized by the girl's voice. They were so absorbed in hearing that sweet song that they didn't notice the approach of the guards until it was too late.
The song she sang was interrupted and the magic of her voice couldn't reach the prince enough to free him from the curse. Although the kitten tried to stop it, the guards took them both into the dungeons of the castle and locked them there. As much as she tried to explain herself and ask for help, no one would care about her there. Nobody knew her...
The crying exploded in her chest and the tears began to stream down her cheeks. The kitten let out a sad meow and leaned on its back paws to lick the tears streaming down her face. It made her smile, even if she thought she would be stuck there forever. From there she could hear the noises of the party being held in the ballroom. If only she had found the prince before...
She pushed the kitten aside and hugged her knees, leaning her head against the icy wall. It was dark and cold below. It was a horrible environment and completely different from the room where she had been until now. She closed her eyes again and began to sing that same song again. Only this time, she was able to sing it completely...
