The professor replied with a half smile: "He attacked me because I hurt you. Your arm was injured by the glass when you fell." Still a mystery to him, was the motive that led the android to disobey its parent order: To never attack its creator. "He still needs some repairs, but I have a conference that will take me four precious days this week. Do you think you can sort things out here, Miss Haru?"
Despite the question, it was all settled. Professor Tokki left the repairs on his assistant hands and in the next 4 days was absent. Day after day the android asked more and more things for the girl. He was not happy with how little he knew about humanity. Haru explained to him the best way she could how things worked out among humans.
"I still don't understand... Why do I have to protect humans?" It was the question that A.I. asked the professor as soon as he returned. Tokki didn't like the question, though he found it very interesting. "You have to do this not to become scrap." He snapped, leaving Haru perplexed by his rudeness.
"Professor, I'm sure A.I. could evolve a lot more if we explain some..." But the professor made her shut up just with a gaze. The girl sighed and continued to run the test reports. In all of them, A.I. refused to protect humans. The lab team was already looking to discard him, but Tokki was too stubborn to give up so easily. "On the next test... Miss Haru will be the victim."
