Today was going to be one of the best days of your life.
Why?
The Engagement Party is today.
Percy seemed pretty excited for this day, you reminded him that it was only the Engagement Party, but he told you;
"As I said. Bill was an immature brat so we had no hope he would ever get with someone." Percy shook your shoulders,
"Was he that bad?" You asked,
"OH YEAH, HE WAS," Dipper ran in, "AND I CAN TELL YOU ALL THE THINGS HE HAS DONE."
"OH, YOU BETTER NOT." Bill slid down the hall and stared at Dipper.
"I LIKE TO SCREAM TOO" Mabel came in,
"ALL OF YOU SHUT UP AND GET BACK IN YOUR ROOMS SO I CAN TALK TO MY FUTURE DAUGHTER-IN-LAW." Percy shouted, "I GOTTA GOSSIP TO HER ABOUT HOW IMMATURE AND STUPID BILL WAS."
"YOU WILL DO NO SUCH THING," Bill screamed,
"waTCH ME" Percy put you over his shoulder and ran off.
"WHA- DON'T TAKE MY FIANCE LIKE THAT" Bill screamed and ran after his father.
"SHES MY FUTURE DAUGHTER IN LAW YOU CAN'T STOP ME"
"BUT YOU'RE NOT GOING TO MARRY HER; I AM."
"BUT SHE HAS TO KNOW EVERYTHING!"
"THAT WAS IN THE PAST!"
Percy put his hand towards Bill, and his red flames went forward and blocked Bill.
"A...ARE YOU SERIOUS?!" Bill yelped,
"Yes," Percy stopped and turned to face his son. "I never joke."
"...Uh..." You looked at the King, "...you have."
"...Just that one time." Percy looked at you,
"...It was more than once." You corrected him. Percy gave off an impression of 'I know dumb dumb' and looked at his son once more,
"weLP. SEE YOU AT THE ENGAGEMENT PARTY. MY DAUGHTER AND I WILL BE TALKING~!" Percy ran down the hall and into his room. He tossed you on the bed and patted your shoulder,
"Your lover did some stuff before he met you, sweetie." Percy reached for a drawer and took out a list. You stared at the list,
"...Is that-" You pointed at the list,
"Yes," Percy gave you a serious look, "This is a list on what Bill did this past trillion years."
"Oh God." You facepalmed,
"Yes." Percy nodded, sat down next to you and opened up the list for you to see.
~ 2 hours later ~
It was time for the engagement party. The past hour and a half were you and Percy talking about what Bill has done, and the other half an hour was Percy telling you about marriage.
"Oh yes, there is a gown I want you to try." Percy took you to your room and showed you a lovely . You looked at it with a small smile,
"It's beautiful," You stared at it in awe. "I'll put it on right away." You took the dress gingerly and took it to the changing room. Once you came out, Percy nodded his head and had you sit down next to him.
"..You know, this is between you and me," Percy sighed, "...the dress you're wearing is the same dress Genee wore for her engagement party with me."
