Violent Princey au (Also Highschool au)

Logan's POV:

Patton was been getting bullied at school. He had only told Virgil who excessively hinted at it to me for a while until I figured it out. I have offered to help a multitude of times but he's always declined because apparently he wanted to sort it out himself for once instead of always getting help from us. I understand why he hasn't told Roman yet, he can get a little... violent when he gets heated.

"Logan? Is everything Gucci?" Speaking of the prince. We were studying for our technical arts exam together. Although we didn't get along that well, I still appreciated the company. "I'm adequate, I'm just thinking..." He continued to pester me, gosh he's so over protective. "Patton's getting bul-" I blurted out as he continued to integrate me relentlessly. His playful smile left for a coffee break and was replaced by a frown.

The entire room was filled with awkward tension. I soon realized that he was waiting for me to spell it out. I sighed and attempted to figure out a way to phrase this without making Roman go full on psycho. Despite my best efforts, I failed miserably. "Patton is getting bullied and he didn't want  you to informed it because you rather... violent when it comes to these things."

Roman gritted his teeth in frustration before standing from his chair and making his way to the door. "And just where are you going?" He turned to me, his facial expression one I feared immensely. "To save a damsel in distress..." His words sent chills up my spine. As soon as he escaped, I yanked my phone out of my pocket and called Patton.

Patton's POV:

I sat cross legged on my bed, playing on my phone while Virgil was lying face down on my carpet with his legs and arms spread like a starfish, Dan Howell style. We were supposed to be studying for a math test but Virgil had a spontaneous existential crisis so we had to put that on hold. "You feeling better, buddy?" He groaned in response, I had to cover my mouth to stifle my laughter.

"Alright, tell me when you go back to normal." Suddenly, the sound my ringtone fulled the room. I looked back at my phone to see Logan calling, I feel the blood rush to my cheeks. Out of corner my eye, I could see Virgil jump up in surprise. I answered the call as Virgil made his way over to my bed. "Put it on speaker..." He saw the caller ID as he situated himself next to me, his feet in the air. I concurred accordingly.

"Yellow?"

"Patton, we have a issue..."

"What are you talking about?"

"Roman found out."

"Oh no, is he on his way here?"

"I assume so. He left as soon as I told him. I just thought it would be wise to warn you so you are aware."

"Well, thanks for warning. I gotta prepare for the storm. See ya, Logie!"

"Farewell, Patton."

Call ended

"I love you..." I whispered quietly. I had been pinning over Logan for as long as I can remember. I had accepted he would never think of our love as more than platonic. Virgil put his hand on my shoulder, he knew it was hard sometimes to get over crushes as strong as mine was on Logan. I reflected on the call. Roman was coming to confront me about the bullying situation.

The realization hit me like a wave. Roman was coming right now. I didn't want him to see me like this. Bruises covered my arms and back and clothes were ruffled and torn slightly.
My front door was locked but one of my bedroom window's lock was broken and Roman knew that. I used my initiative and began piling boxes and shoes and just everything I could lift in front of the window.

Virgil looked at me in confusion. "Can you give me a hand?!" He took a moment to process what was happening before helping me build the wall.

*Time skip because I'm tried*

Virgil placed the final box on top of the pile. He turned to me and offered a small, genuine smile which I returned. Suddenly, Roman appeared and pushed through the boxes with ease. All the boxes fell on the floor. The room was filled with an awkward silence. After a while, I glanced at Virgil who was still smiling. It was a different smile though and I couldn't quite place what he was so happy about.

I looked back at Roman who had crossed his arms. "How could you not tell me about this?" His usually peppy and energetic voice had been replaced by a cold husk of it's former self. "I can handle this myself, Roman." I was being defensive. Of course I couldn't but I wanted to be strong and didn't want help.

"No you can't! And you don't have to! That's why you have friends, so they can support you in situations like this! We can't help you if we don't know!" He was getting rather aggressive, I could see him squeezing his arm in an attempt to stay calm. I felt my throat close up. He was imitating. I was scared of Roman.

"W-we don't like it when you get like this!" I cursed myself for stuttering. "Tell him, Virgil!" I needed some sort of support but Virgil seemed to be in his own little world. "Yeah, yeah. Totally. Hey Roman, pick up the bed with one arm..." He bit his lip in flirtatious manner. I looked over at Roman who's face was a shade of pure red. He cleared his throat to regain his composure.

"Patton, this person has no right to treat you like that! As you're friend, I'm going to defend you against them. It's up to you if you appreciate that or not!" Virgil had made his way over to Roman and was holding his arm dangerously close to his bicep. "Roman..." I took a deep, shaky breath and began tearing up. Roman and Virgil supported me until I stopped crying.
