Warning: A probably inaccurate description of a panic attack. I've never had one but I can imagine it very clearly with information I've inferred from other fics

Virgil lent on the door to Thomas' living room, he had his hand on his chest and he could feel his heart beating violently against his ribcage. The emo gently brushed his tingling lips with his fingers, still warm. He had no idea what came over him and regretted his actions immensely. Why on earth did he do that? When recording a video no less? Virgil felt his face turn a deep crimson.
Suddenly, Roman dropped the flirty act. "Don't you care about Thomas? Or even me?!" Roman. Why did he constantly ask that stupid first question? If Virgil didn't care about Thomas then why would he be there? Sorting out his problems with the others. He couldn't be bothered to answer the same query he had been asked. Every. Day.
But the second question caught his attention. Enough to make a response anyway. "What do you mean 'Do you care about me'? You know the answer already." He figured that would suffice and Roman would drop the subject, focusing on the issue at hand. Be mature for once in his life. He didn't though. "No? That's what it feels like."
Roman really was the ego. He couldn't think about anything other than himself even his own host. Typical.
"Don't antagonize me for not bowing down to you. I'm trying to help our host but all you're concerned about is yourself." Roman opened his mouth to say something but Virgil cut him off. "You manipulate me with your stupid flirting into thinking you actually care so I'll excuse you for being a jerk. But not this time."
"You are the one who doesn't care about his fellow traits, you selfish prick." Roman gritted his teath angrily and Virgil didn't feel as strong anymore. Roman stepped out of his spot and walked to Virgil's. Roman was at least a head taller then Virgil was and that didn't help Virgil being imitated by the prince.
"Stop it Roman, you're scaring him."
One of the other sides finally spoke. Patton. The best dad of dadness. Roman turned his head so he could glance at his parde. He turned back to face Virgil, his face softened. "You really think I'm just playing games with you?" Virgil crossed his arms, gaining confidence in his stance. Well, as much confidence you can gain when you're the embodiment of anxiety.
"It's the truth." Virgil didn't believe for a single second that Roman genuinely liked him. Sure, it stung a lot to know that the fanciful prince didn't care for the emo himself in the slightest but it was okay. Virgil got over it rather quickly since he was already well aware that Roman was unattainable, romantic or otherwise, so that softened the blow.
He was used to heartbreak anyway.
"No, it's not. I do li-" It was all a blur, the sound of world seemed to turn to static as he pulled Roman in by the collar. The impulsive action was explained by so many repressed feelings that as soon as he was given the opportunity to express them, he couldn't resist the urge. Virgil didn't even realize the mistake he made until he felt Roman start kissing back.
