He shouldn't of looked.
Why on earth did he think it was a good idea to look?
Now it's weird.
It was sleepover Sunday, a tradtion Patton and Logan had done every Sunday since they met in primary school. Even now they were that they were nearly eighteen and been out of school for a while, they still did it every weekend without exception. What Patton began to notice over the years though as that Logan wasn't that little smart, quiet boy in the corner of classroom anymore.
It was already obvious from the fact that Logan was nearly half a foot taller than Patton now. But that's not what he meant. Logan had matured a lot since he was a child in more than one way. As always, Patton and Logan went to opposite sides of Patton's room and faced the wall as they got changed in their pjs. Neither of them ever went into the other room to change.
They always had simply trusted the other not to turn around until the other was done. They had once sworn that they would never turn around when they changed but it purely involuntary on Patton's part when he did. Logan was taking off his tie as Patton was pulling his kitten pj pants on, he took a step back and almost silped on his previously discarded jeans.
He spun around on the clothes, catching himself on the wooden closet behind him. He opened his eyes on the impact, groaning slightly as he rubbed his head in pain, looking down at the floor. Hearing the noise, Logan didn't turn away but still voiced his concern. "Are you alright?" He asked softly, the soft Koren accent he picked up from his foreign parents obvious in his voice.
Unconsciously, Patton looked up only to immediately freeze in shock as Logan pulled his now unbuttoned black polo shirt over his head and beginning to fold it neatly. He placed his neat, folded black polo shirt on the floor next to him with him, completely unaware of Patton's focused gaze directed on his back. Patton couldn't help but notice how gorgeous his childhood friend's body had become over the years.
He hummed flusterdly at the sight of his appearance, looking him up and down which Logan took as a yes to his worry. The way Logan stretched slightly, giving Patton a better look at the curves that shaped his beautiful body. He wasn't too strong looking but fit with his slim form. His pale skin practically shone with the light in the center of the ceiling, giving him a slight almost angelic glow.
Warmth engulfed his freckled cheeks as Patton felt himself tense. Patton felt some previously discarded feelings resurface as his heart pounded violently against his ribcage. Patton suddenly realized he was staring as he heard Logan begin unbuckle his belt. He quickly turned around to face the wall again to avoid crossing anymore boundaries then he already had.
Sweat dripped from his forehead as he quickly pulled the rest of his pjs on, trying to erase the image of Logan half naked from his brain. His mind was plagued with dirty thoughts as they both finished getting changed and started watching a Disney movie. The innocent film played in front of them with Patton keeping much more distance than usual which perplexed Logan immensely.
Normally Patton would be cuddled up to his friend's side, beginning to fall asleep but today, Patton kept distance and was completely wide awake. And Logan was beginning to worry something was on his mind and it didn't seem good because Patton weren't focused on the furry creatures on screen. Something was definitely on his mind but it was nothing like what Logan was suspecting.
A lot less innocent then he was excepting from Patton either.
Patton unconsciously crossed his legs over one another making Logan raise an eyebrow but since it was such a simple thing, he didn't question it. Patton felt immeasurably uncomfortable. Not only was his mind plagued with dirty thoughts but romantic ones too. Patton used to have a huge crush on the intellectual when they were younger and those feelings seemed to be resurfacing.
Even so it didn't feel right for his mind to wandering to such inappropriate places when Logan was right there. He was trying to focus something, anything else but it was a lot harder than it looked somehow. It became even harder when Logan looked at Patton with concern before pausing the movie, removing the outside sound that was previously distracting Patton.
He sighed as Patton looked at him in confusion. He turned around to face Patton, his expression filled with concern. "Are you sure you're feeling alright? You're keeping your distance, did I do something?" Patton felt his heart throb in his chest at the gentle concern in his voice, that fact only fueling his thoughts to his dismay.
Patton glanced away from Logan as he spoke, only raising his suspicion. "Um ok.""That's a confident answer." Logan spoke sarcastically, it being anything but. He always seemed to know everything and everything included how to see right Patton's fake wellbeing. He wasn't good at recognizing emotions in others but since he and Patton had been friends for so long, he could read him like an open book. And Patton knew that and it was both a blessing and a curse.
A blessing because it genuinely show, despite people thinking Logan was purely stoic, Logan had a heart and he cared about Patton's wellbeing. Also it made Patton feel special and accepted to know someone was always looking out for him. A curse became it was platonic and Logan always knew when something was up. Sometimes Patton simply wanted to deal with his own problems. even if he preferred it with support.
Logan crossed his arms to show he was backing down. He wasn't going to let a problem go unsolved if he could help it. "Don't lie to me. You clearly have something on your mind." When Patton didn't respond and looked down at the covers, Logan sighed as his slightly frustrated face softened. What he didn't know was Patton was doing that to hide the crimson that now decorated his cheeks.
Logan softly took Patton's chin in his hand, lifting it up slowly. Logan normally did this when Patton wouldn't look at him and he didn't think anything of it. Patton however the world of the gesture, even more than he did before. The feeling of Logan's cold hands felt nicer than he'd ever want to admit out loud. "Patt-" Logan got cut off as Patton's lips slammed into his, gasping into the unexpected kiss.
It barely lasted a second before Patton realized what he was doing, pulling away quickly. He sputtered out countless apologies as he sprinted to the bathroom across the hall before Logan could stop him. Logan remained Frozen in his spot, eyes darting around the room as he tried to process what had just happened. He reached up and brushing his fingers across his lips.
He felt a strange boiling on his cheeks that he had never felt before. It was strange but not necessarily unpleasant. He stood hesitantly, poking his head out the door to see it had been closed and locked. He could hear sobbing across the hall, guilty sobbing. He winced slightly as he heard Patton try to choke one down which only caused his cries to get louder.
He cautiously walked down the hall and knocked on the bathroom. "Patton, please open the door."
"No! You probably hate me now!"
"What you did needed consent, Patton but you seem to be distressed so you weren't thinking straight, right?"
"Can you tell me what you were thinking about? I wish to ease your concern."
Patton paused before he spoke quietly.
"Remember when I promised you I would never turn around?" Patton bit his lip and Logan's eyes widened.***
