Warning: Sadness and angst.

The sun had began to rise over the hill. The sky mixed into a beautiful mix of orange, yellow and red all expertly painted and reflected into the calm and clear waters of the river
to make a truely magnificent sight to see indeed. As soon as the sun began to filter though the faulty curtains, Patton groaned and woke up begrudgingly, practically dragging himself out of bed.

Not that he could really complain, the townsfolk of the village were kind enough to give them this place to stay while they sorted out an anomaly in Thomas' imagination which they were grateful for. It also had spectacular views as Patton found he drew the torn up curtains back, sighing contentedly with a smile on his face at the pleasant surprise of a such a gorgeous sight in the morning.

To avoid not being able to the painting like sky, he hurriedly got dressed into a his normal light blue shirt, beige jeans and black sneakers. But, since he couldn't find his cat hood, he threw a black cardigan on over it, not wanting to freeze in cold early morning. He walked up the curved, creaky steps, passing the others rooms as sliently as he could, making his way up to the rooftop.

The rooftop had an even more excellent view than his single window in his dark room of the naturally made beauty that was a sunrise. To his surpise but certainly delight, one of his fellow sides had already made his way up to watch the sunrise, legs hanging off the edge. It was always better to watch beautiful things with good company and Logan definitely made for excellent company.

He already looked ready for the day in  early hours of the day, unlike Patton who had simply thrown an outfit together when he had woken up out of excitement, his hair slicked back while Patton still had messy bedhair. Logan too had his usual outfit of blue jeans, black polo shirt with blue and black businessman like shoes but also had a black jacket because, like Patton, he believed it would be cold.

They were both incorrect since the basking heat of the bright sun made it comfortably warm. Patton grinned to himself as he sat down with his legs underneath him, a simple glance was the only sign he received from Logan that showed he knew he was there. Patton smiled contentedly once more as the two sat peacefully in silence, simply enjoying the wordless company as they gazed at the stunning sunset in front of them.

After a few minutes of admiring the gorgeous view, Patton spoke softly, eyes remaining on the dazzling sunset. "Isn't it beautiful, Lo?" For a short while he received no response as Logan bit his lip. He was barely paying the breathtaking sunrise any mind, he just needed a bigger space than the small room he was given by the townsfolk for temporary residence.

"... I suppose." Was Logan's simple response. Patton tore his eyes away from marvelous view to look at Logan's anxious gaze at his normally calm brown eyes fluttered around the view and fiddled with nothing in particular in his hands. It was a habit when he thinking of something particularly terrible. Patton's smile fell and was replaced with concern.

He placed a hand on the man's shoulder, getting his attention."Is something bothering you?" Logan sighed, knowing if he tried to deny the accusation that Patton would see right though the lies no matter what lie Logan pulled. Therefore, there would be no point since doing something that impossible was illogical and not worth the effort Logan could be spending on solving the problem.

Besides he needed a little positively to balance out the negativity in his mind to truely achieve his logical thinking and Patton seemed to be the best trait to go to for help in that area. He spoke cautiously and quietly. "Deceit has been gone for years but you and I both saw his name tagged back at the town plaza. Do you believe the tag was copied to gain our attention or he's still out there?" Patton frowned.
