Jane wondered around the lovely little beach she called her home away from home. Jane wore a black dress party dress with red trim around the bottom, shielding the pair of basket ball shorts underneath. A necklace with a green gem adorned her neck, it sparkling in the sunset just as much as her sea green eyes did.

Freckles covered her sunkissed skin especially on her nose and cheeks, the abundance of them she had made it look like she was always blushing. Jane was a very naturally beautiful young lady so she never wore much makeup. She had long, curly red hair falling over her shoulder that fallen from the messy bun on top of her head.

She spun around, her dress gracefully flowing in the wind. The golden sand crinkled beneath her feet as she sang and danced to Disney songs. "I know you, I've walked with once upon a dream~ I know the gleam in your eyes is familiar a gleam~" It was quite sad to sing a famous love ballad by yourself but she really wasn't. She quite enjoying being single and by herself, free of judgement and exceptions. It was the only place she could be who she was.

"And I know it's true~ That visions seldom all the say seem but if I know you, I know what you'll do~" She had no romantic interest in anyone. Most families would be accepting but it unacceptable in hers. Everytime she tried to tell someone, they told her the same things. You're just weird, you'll grow into it. Bitch please. "You'll love me at once, the way you did once upon a dream~"

She apparently had to get married because her prestigious family said so. It didn't matter what she thought, it didn't matter what any of her siblings thought. They had to get married. "And if I know you, I know what you'll do~" But now she didn't worry about that and was a lot more carefree now that was able to be herself. She had been smiling nonstop for the past hour and her cheeks were beginning to hurt.

"You'll love me at once," She continued singing, starting the next the line. What she didn't except was someone to start singing with her. "The way you did once," A muffled male voice from behind her sang along with her. Their voices harmonized as she froze in shock. He continued to sing as her throat seemed to close up. "Upon a dream." A blush crashed onto her cheeks, a feeling she wasn't used to.

The wind brushed her hair and dress to the side as Jane turned around to see a dark cave that had spikes adorning it's sides as if to protect what was inside... or outside. The alluring voice began singing once more, not a Disney song this time. Jane stopped the music playing from her phone, wanting to hear more of the unfamiliar song. Perhaps it was orginal? She could ask.

"Come fair maiden~ I'll take thee away, into a land of enchantment. Come little princess, the time's come to play here in my garden of shadows~" She walked to the cave entrance, lifting her dress as to not rip it as she entered. The cave was completely dark aside from a glowing red light coming from a home that was partially covered by a large rock, making it appear as almost just a small nook in the wall.

Utterly enchanted at this point, Jane clenched her hand around her necklace and pecked though the hole. Her widened at the beauty before her. The small 'room' of the cave was completely glorious looking. There were red glowing crystals that almost appeared to be spikes shot downwards from the ceiling. Laying underneath that was small, sparkling pond that reflected the beauty above it.

Beautiful as it may be, that wasn't what she was entranced by however. It was a the merman like creature that lay on the rock. "Follow sweet princess, I'll show thee the way through all the pain and the sorrow. Weep not fair maiden, for life is this way, murdering beauty and passions~" He sat on the side of the pond, his tail in the water as he tapped his hand against the side of it.

His auburn tail slashed around in the water, white, almost transparent fins coming from the sides of the middle and the end of it. His ears were the same, making a shape similar to a fish's tail. He had tan skin and curly hazelnut brown colored hair. He was also shirtless which really wasn't helping the red heavy blush that now decorated her freckled cheeks.

Jane took a deep breath. She pushed the rock out of the way, making a loud noise and therefore alerting the strange merman like creature of her presence. "Hush now dear maiden, it must be this way too weary of life and deceptions." He looked up at Jane and gestured for her to come over by filping his tail next to him.
She cautiously sat next to him, he grinned happily at her.

Jane glanced at him, he took the opportunity to cup her cheek so she was fully facing him. His voice and attractive appearance made him appear very attractive as well as the added mysterious factor of what exactly he was. Was this what love was? "Rest now my princess, for soon we'll away into the calm and the quiet~" His brown eyes pierced her soul.

He grabbed behind her neck, pushing her head forward into the pond. Jane thrashed and fought against his grip but he was lot stronger than she was. She was losing a lot of breath really fast. "Come dear princess~ I'll take thee away, into a land of enchantment~" Sharp nails digged into her neck as Jane struggled to breathe. He used his nails to cut the necklace.

He ripped his hand away, bringing the necklace up with it. The gem cut into her neck, slitting her throat and subsequently killing her. She fell limp into the water, the blood from her neck changing the pond into an even darker crimson shade. "Come fair maiden~ The time's come to play here in my garden of shadows~" He finished the song sweetly as he pulled her out of the water.

Roman pulled Jane's dead body onto his lap. "Sorry lady, let's just say you're not my type." Roman chuckled at his own joke before raising Jane's wrist to his mouth. He got out his retractable teeth before biting into it. He pulled a large chuck of skin from, smiling a twisted grin at the blood running down her arm with the rest of blood dripping from his sharp teeth. He eagerly took another bite.

Geez this is dark.

I accidentally got attached to Jane :'( Siren Roman is amazing. The first song is Once upon a dream from Sleeping Beauty and the second is a slight alteration of the song at the top or come little children.
