Thomas was hanging out with some old friends and Roman and Virgil had gone on a date so the two glasses wearing sides were alone in the living room. Logan had to admit he found the whole arrangement awkward.
It's not like Logan disliked Patton, it was just... he was always so happy. It was so weird. They were in living room, watching The Dragon Prince on Netflix.

For the most part, Logan found Patton's company... tolerable but there was one thing he found incredibly strange. He absolutely obsessed with ships (Not the same as a boat apparently.) and would constantly scream "My ship!" when two of the characters communicated. It was really bizarre to watch, Patton practically bouncing on the couch with a goofy grin on his face.

Actually come to think of it, it was kinda ado-

...

Nevermind.

Patton's energy contained much more enthusiasm than Logan's did who, unsurprisingly, was not bouncing in his seat. He sat as a normal person would which meant there was a stark constrast between the two. Most of the binge session had been silent besides from Patton's fanboying over how badass Rayla. But Logan had a question on his mind the entire time.

He bothered him endlessly that Patton was so... happy. He sent so much time so much time with negative people but still remained positive. Why could someone be so happy? He decided to ask the question directly. "Hey Patton?" He hummed in response, turning around on the couch so he was facing Logan. He still had the brightest smile on his face and Logan reconsidered asking for moment.

Of course, he didn't chsnage the conversation course he had planned out. "Why are you so cheerful all the time?" Surprisingly, that question didn't ruin Patton's mood, maybe even enhanced it. What? He enjoyed Logan's company and talking to him.
"The world's a beautiful place full of amazing people, why shouldn't I be happy?"

Patton gestured around him as if their surroundings were proof enough to back his claim, a smile still on his face. Patton saw Logan roll his eyes out of the corner of his eye, turning to him questioningly with his smile faded slightly. Logan faced Patton with a unreadable expression before replying harshly. "Only a naive person like you would say that."

That clearly caught Patton off guard. His eyes widened slightly in shock.

"W-what?" Logan shook his head and turned back to the screen. He honestly meant it but it also a joke of sorts,he really didn't mean to harm Patton's feelings. "Nevermind." Nevermind was Logan's sort exit word to get of discussion he'd rather not be involved in and he used it often around Patton. He said it and the conversation seized to exist but in this case, it seemed so did Patton.

He went completely silent. He didn't fidget or jump up and down in his seat in excitement for his possible ship having a moment that may of supported the idea the pairing would come to fruition by the stories. Nothing. Logan glanced over at him, noticing Patton was looking at his phone. It was on dictionary.com and the word definition on screen more specifically was naive.

Crap.

Patton looked up from his phone slightly so Logan looked back at the tv screen. For the next few minutes before the episode ended, Logan could practically feel but he chose not to bring it up as to not make the problem then it needed to be. As soon as the credits began rolling, Patton stood and walked behind the couch, Logan's eyes following him before the moral side spoke. "Give me a minute."

His voice was cold, almost trembling. Honestly it put Logan on edge. Logan decided not to start the episode without him, reading a chapter of his book quickly. He looked at the time and it had been five minutes. That is four minutes longer than Patton had made Logan except. Peculiar. Logan knew exactly why Patton was still upstairs and he knew how to fix it.
