Human au where Thomas is Roman's dad. This is bad sorry.

Thomas' POV:

"Roman, please come back..." I rubbed my eyes as I rushed toward my son. He was jumping around the forest, in bare feet mind you. I felt concerned about my boy but at the same time my vision was blurry because of these stupid bags under my eyes. I wasn't going to risk running into a tree. "But father..." He straightened his posture and stopped running, I let out a breath I didn't realize I was holding.

"I've always wanted to be a knight..." He announced dramatically, he began sprinting further into the forest. I blinked and he completely disappeared from sight. My goodness gracious, I'm a horrible parent. I started searching around, he couldn't of gone far, he has tiny legs. I began feeling anxious. What if I didn't find him? I shivered at the thought but continued the search.

Eventually, I heard a wailing noise, assuming it was my son. Relaying purely on the scream to find him again, I began bolting towards the sound. After a while of running, I saw Roman on his back, holding his knee. It was bleeding, not much but the crimson blood pouring from him still freaked me out. "AHHH! ROMAN!" I rushed to his side and began inspecting the wound.

"A-am I going to die?" Crud, he had started tearing up. I attempted to calm him down but I was failing. "I-it's going to be fine..." I began digging though my bag, trying to locate the wound sealers. "Bandages! Where are my bandages?" I began to panic. "Here..." I felt my breathing hitch as I heard an unfamiliar voice, I quickly looked up to see a young boy looking around Roman's age.

He was wearing a black leather jacket that was a size too big and a pair of camo shorts. His bangs covered his eyes and he looked as if he was wearing makeup. The mysterious boy had wrapped a white fabric around Roman's knee and was in the process of tucking the loose end into the bandage. Roman's face was a shade of red that put the scarf that ran over his shoulders to shame.

"Are you okay?" The boy asked my son, who nodded violently in response. Oh my goodness, this is so freaking cute. Suddenly, the relief of my son being okay washed over. I watched as the boy succeeded at calming Roman down, incredible. He was rubbing circles into the hypothetical prince's back, I took note of the fact that action seemed to relax him a lot.

I felt my lips curl into a subtle smile. My mouth moved before I could think. "Would you consider being my son inlaw?" The boy turned towards in surprise, he probably didn't notice I was there. "I can't handle this child..." I hear Roman give a groan of annoyance and the boy start to laugh. "Maybe one day... my name is Virgil by the way.."
Never heard that one before.

"I like your name and your face! Bye!" Roman screeched out of nowhere, he stood up and clinged to me. "Come on, dad. Let's go." I glanced upward and  saw Virgil with a blush on face. I ship it. I picked him up and placing him on my back. Biding goodbye to Virgil, we began our journey back to the car. Little did I know that would actually become my son in law.
