"What of the girl?"

"What about her?"

"You like her don't you?"

"I find her amusing and that's all"

"Then why is she on your lap?"

At that I looked down at the small wolf who was fast asleep curled up on my lap.

How did you even get there? The last I saw you, you where on the other side of the room sulking because Tyrin flicked your nose, I didn't even realise that you had decided to use my legs as your own personal bed.

I sighed looking back up at Arthur who was suppressing a laugh, I scowled at him "quite" I just snapped making him shut up.

It was quite embarrassing to have someone or really something curled up on my lap like a affectionate cat, or a sleepy dog. But I can't bring myself to wake her up, so I suppose she can stay there dispite how much of my pride it disrupts.

"Out of all the plans you have had this may be the only one that I find a little... idiotic" the doctor said, if it was anyone else calling me that I would probably have fed them to a death stalker, but Watts has has proved his worth hundreds of times over, I could consider him a friend, and I guess I can let that insult slip.

"How so?"

"Your taking care of Ruby Rose, a Denatured Wolf faunas for all sakes, and at such a young one at that, for anyone that would be a handful and a half. My queen is this truly a good idea?"

A good idea? It's only been a few days, and so far it's been ok, nothing I can't handle. "Surly a young girl can't be too hard"

"Denatured faunas have a very sensitive mental state, you have seen the effects of it on Summer Rose, even in the mists of battle she can suddenly loose focus. I would assume that her young would not only be the same but worse" he almost ranted before rubbing his face with his hands "such a young specimen will be harder to handle then a older one, wolf faunas are almost completely dependant they can't handle complex situations and can snap when threatened"

"Snap?"

"Their jaw around fingers and anything that comes within range, it definitely dosent help that the one you have chosen is definitely on the more violent end of the spectrum"

"I find it hard to believe that someone will do something as ghastly as biting another"

"Well... they do" he said sighing before reaching into a bag that lay next to his chair "But this should remedy it" he said placing a carton of... milk? On the table. "Temporarily of course"

"How?"

How can simple cow's milk solve such a problem?

"Well... It's easier to show then tell you" he just said, pouring a glass of the white liquid, almost instantly Ruby suddenly woke up springing out of my lap and to the doctor's side, wagging her tail in anticipation as she starred at the glass.

"I see what you mean" I commented smiling a small almost unnatural smile when Arthur passed the young wolf the glass. The child took it happily and just sat down on the ground where she stood, like how a child less than half her age would as she sipped on the diary product

I guess it will become a handy tool in the future.

"Surly eventually she will miss her dearest family" he commented dramatically.

"All due time, I do believe I took care of that problem."

A/N Well, congratulations you made it to the second (and terribly unplanned) book of this series, where things i left intentionally vage get a description and hopefully cas1065 Will stop pestering me for spoilers, because we all know that if you want them you gotta give me a payment of cookies. But I digress, this book will be a little different then the first and new spelling mistakes will be made as I try and be an intellectual.

And the story of this book will cross slightly will cannon anime ("slightly" different on account for the fact Ruby Rose (cannon) is very different to Ruby Rose (adorable wolf pup) And that whole summer not dead and Raven not a migrant (look it up)) a lot of the hidden story will be the same but you gotta analyse it to find it otherwise it won't be hidden anymore.

Ah yes analysing *drool*
