chapter LI: storm in the city

"Zwei!" I cheered watching excitedly as my father's little corgie wiggled out from inbetween his legs and launching at me at full force. I giggled while the black and white little dog yipped and barked happily standing on my chest as I layed back against the wooden flooring of my dorm hugging the fluffy dog.

"Take him for a bit, I'm going to be gone for a few days" he said looking at me rolling around on the floor with his dog, I sat up slightly, looking at him sheepishly erecting a small smirk on his face. "Later kid, try not to blow something up" he waved off leaving me with Zwei, Who, after a few seconds of staring at the door; put his paw on my face making me giggle. If not to then become alarmed by the bathroom door opening.

"Ruby, showers free- HISSS!" Black screeched leaping onto Yang's bed, the blond groaning at the half naked young adult standing on her stomach chest and face. Blake's tail was high in the air all her fur standing on end while her back arched. This all happening at the same time of her hissing at Zwei, the very confused corgie, I would be confused as Well if I wasn't giggling uncontrollably, since the dark haired cat Faunas was also performing this action next to her dark furred cat, mr Wiskers was equally unhappy.

"Blake as much as I'm enjoying the view, I can't breath" Yang croaked, almost pushing the towled girl off the bed while she sat up, stretching and then assessing the situation.

"Demon!" Blake screeched pointing at me, I frowned at that loud comment before clambering over to Weiss for consolidation. Who in her sleeping state, rapped her arms around me pulling me close and muttering something that sounded a lot like ' go back to sleep' but it was more like a weird mumble. Zwei on the other hand, was yipping happily up at Blake who was hissing and throwing pillows at the dog.

"Ugh it's just Zwei" Yang grunted using her covers to pin the hissing Faunas to the bed while she tried to go back to sleep.

"It's a demon!"

"Zwei is cool, leave him be" my sister grumbled and then filling the room with her loud snores.

Blake just continued to hiss, I grumbled wiggling closer to my silently sleeping girlfriend. "That tickles" Weiss muttered while I nuzzled into her chest, feeling it jolt every few seconds when the platinum haired girl sleepily chuckled, I wagged my tail trying to wake her the best way I can without being kicked off the bed. "Ruby, stop" she grumbled pushing me away slightly before then I wiggled back to her.

"Wake up~" I whined pushing on her trying to get her to open her eyes but she just kept pushing me off, before she then pushed me a little too hard and I hit the floor with a very loud *THUNK*. That made the girl almost spring into the air batting away a concerned Zwei while she picked at my body trying to move my tail out from under my own body.

"Ruby! I'm sorry I didn't meen to throw you onto the floor" she appologied quickly, eventually watching as I pulled myself up off the floor, my tail wagging behind me despite the fact it throbbes slightly. Weiss sat there fretting over me while my sister and our teammates snores the morning away, dispite Blake's lack of dress.

"I'm ok!" I chriped nuzzling into her shoulder making her smile.

"Alright, if you say so" she said while stretching watching as then I picked up Zwei scooting over to the dresser strapping on my leg, well attempting to, but the little corgie had another idea besides me being able to walk today. So instead he grabbed onto my leg like it was some kind of chew toy "dog! Dont!" Weiss almost snapped, chasing the corgie around the dorm room while I sat there trying to catch the dog who saw everything that was going on as a game.

"Zwei!" I called hopping awkwardly after the dog , falling onto the floor multiple times because of my unfortunate disability, but as Weiss jumped on the dog I was almost certain that nobody was happy with the little corgie, apart from the little corgie himself. "Bad doggie" I scolded giving him a angry face while Weiss came up from behind me, lifting me up in her arms grabbing my leg for me and strapping it on for me.
