"Are you just going to stare at her? I know you can't see or hear you but it's a little creepy" Peach commented while I sat on the opposite side of the small corridor watching as my stepdaughter built a tower out of blocs usually given to toddlers. "She needs more enrichment anyway you might aswell go in" she said commenting on how bored she probably was, but I could tell from the smallest twitch of her tail to a flick of a ear that she wasn't bored she was just concentrating, trying to balance things on top of eachouther.

"What do you think she's thinking about right now?" I asked looking up at the professor who shrugged walking off.

"Well that was helpful" I sighed before standing up unlocking the door "now or never" I commented pushing open the door and watching as Ruby jumped like a meater in hight nocking over her tower while she watched me enter the room, growling.

"Hey" I just said getting a more powerful growl in response, I sighed closing the door and locking it with my scroll as I walked over and sat down in a corner. " your annoyed with me aren't you?" I asked watching as she continued her snarling "im not going to do anything" I said taking hold of my swords and making her yelp, at that I looked at her and back at my swords before I unbuckled them from my waist getting up and throwing them out the door before taking a seat back in the corner staring at Ruby as she stared back, both of our eyes looking into each other.

"Your jaw hurts doesn't it?" I asked watching as she continued to stare into my eyes, I knew that she wouldn't bite me, she never was too reckless to do somthing that she knows would hurt her. " You like my eyes don't you?" I asked "they look like Salem's right?" I asked watching for a reaction, she flinched a little at that comment "was Salem nice? Did she protect you? Did she make you feel safe?" I asked.

"You abandoned me" she snarled making me look at her blankly before sighing.

"Ruby we never abandoned you, we wanted to help you, Salem poisoned you and we couldn't save you here" I said " Did she tell you that? Did Salem tell you that we don't care about you?"

" You still abandoned me and left me with a Ursa!" She shouted at me

"So you could get help, you remember how sick you where, unable to move or do anything, you where dieing we where so worried and we knew it was the only way"

"But... no your bad!" Ruby shouted comeing to a solid conclusion

"Alright, if you think I'm bad, then I must be, I'll just sit here then" I said trying to let Ruby just have her own way for a little bit and let her come to a proper conclusion. If I knew better I would say it was just a teenage faze, Yang whent through a similar thing a few years ago when she was fifteen aswell, but Ruby is different, and really quite stressed right now, I can't blame her for calling me bad, but I just want to make sure she knows the truth and understands it.

I watched as Ruby turned around curling her tail around in a pouty kind of way as she started to stack the blocks back up, her toy clutched in her arms throughout the whole situation. I in boredom pulled out my scroll and started to play a game my red scathing eyes flicking across the screen, until I saw a pair of silver looking at me, more importantly the game on my scroll "You want to play it?" I asked holding out my scroll for her watching as she sniffed it with her sensitive nose before she snatched it out of my hand. I didn't mind though just letting her take it, watching as she started to play the game herself.

Though after about ten minutes of this I shuffled closer to the distracted girl, bringing my hand up and stroking her hair. The most unexpected thing happened, and that was that she didn't try and claw my eyes out, in fact she instead nuzzled into my hand "I know you want someone to pet you don't you?" I asked trying to be as reserved as possible but still catering to Ruby's need for physical contact.
