Dark, I wondered, when in the world was I put to bed? But asides that there where shadows flashing across the window, I whined grabbing my covers and bringing them up closer to my chin. My silver eyes running All over my room as I found a sliver of orange light filtering into the carpet. I whined again, yet to little to no response, where were they?...

Right Ruby, get up and go get them

...

But warm...

No! Go get them! I growled grabbing my crutch and working my way out of the room wandering around the long desolate hall before I made my way to my parent's room, wiggling through the door where they both lay asleep, promptly jumping onto the two figers making them groan loudly "wha- Ruby? What's wrong pup?" My stepmother asked sitting up revealing her dark coloured pyjamas. "Its like 2 am" she squinted at the clock.

"There's people outside" I muttered, my mother rubbing my ears as Raven climbed out of bed and quickly ripped open the curtains.

"Team WOLF?" My mother asked As Raven continued to squint

"I don't know because I don't have night vision "Raven growled, watching my mother dragged herself out of bed and peeked through the curtains, then quickly grabbing her weapons.

"Its team WOLF" she sighed, watching my stepmother scoop me up into her arms. "Take her downstairs" she ordered.

"Be careful, you'll probably just go out there and scare them" Raven warned, creeping down stairs where Yang and Blake lay asleep on the sofa. My stepmother, sighed, carefully laying me down on the two sleeping forms, stirring them awake.

"Hey sis" Yang yawned, rapping an arm around my back, petting up and down as I was wiggled inbetween her and her girlfriend, who honestly didn't seem like she minded, instead she just rapped an arm around me as well. "What's up?" The blonde dragon asked yawning again as I snuggled into her chest.

"There's people outside" our mother answered, bending down and stroking my ears.

"Bad people? Or students who didn't read the rule book?" Yang inquired, shuffling about slightly.

"Not sure, it might very well be both" Raven sighed running her fingers through her own hair, before then kissing our foreheads. "Try and get more sleep, me and Summer will take care of this"

"That is not very comforting!" Yang shouted to our mother, who just walked away, obviously more concerned about the mysterious shadows flashing through the windows, even if she can't see them very well. "It'll be ok sis, just... stay with Blake" Yang groaned, pushing me of her stomach and walking off herself, leaving me nestled in Blake's arms.

I sighed, turning back to the cat faunus and almost jumping out of my own skin as two Amber eyes connected with my own. "Hi" I squeaked meekly, braking out into giggles when she brought me into a stong hug.

"Cuddly puppy" she muttered into my hair, nuzzling between my ears. "Just go to sleep." She added, her tail swishing as she talked.

"Don't want to" i mumbled, my ears twitching every once in a while as I heard shuffling.

"Then don't and be tired tomorrow" my sister then spoke up, slipping onto the chair behind me and pressing me between her self and her girlfriend. "Mum's gonna take care of it as she said, it's fine"

*crash!*

"Probably fine" Yang then added "now might be a good time to get dressed"

"Yang, up" I called reaching for my older sister who sighed, reaching down and acting as my taxi, cuddling my body close to her bear breasts, not that I minded, they made perfect pillows, so squishy I could almost... fall... back... asleep...
