"Are you sure about this?" I asked Raven as she nodded looking at me as she stroked my hair.

"Qrow is a jerk and a half ass dick but he's not too much of a idiot" she said nuzzling against my head before she started to pull off her gauntlets. She looked at me and smiled "don't worry, he won't kill her"

"That just makes me worry more!" I retorted looking at Raven as she crouched down next to Ruby who was doing some maintenance on her leg.

"Hey" the samurai said stroking the girl's cheek and making her look up to her "You know what you have to do when we get there?" She asked as the girl nodded solemnly "it's ok we'll be there aswell" she said taking hold of her hands and strapping her gauntlets on the girl, they slipped far down her arms and a little past her elbow " are you ready?"

Ruby just nodded before she was brought into a strong hug, Raven rubbing her back before pulling away

"We just need you to lead us, you've lead your team in combat before, now your going to be our leader" I said as she looked up to me.

"Why can't you do it then? Your a leader" She asked as I sighed

"Because I don't know what to do" I said joining Raven's side crouched down And taking hold of Ruby's now armoured hand "and I think you do, you may not now but when we get there you will"

"But you are a awesome leader! You always know what to do!" Ruby protested as I just rubbed her head.

"Thanks for the praise" I muttered before kissing her forehead "But your going to be leader for a little bit, you need to be a big girl, think you can do that for us?"

Ruby whimpered before nodding " we need you to say it" Raven said slowly stroking the girl's arm

"I can do it" she said with a small voice as we both quickly pulled her into a hug.

"There's a good girl" I muttered into her ear before pulling away, Raven following suit soon after.

"Watch your footing, keep your hands firmly on your weapon, and if you want to run on the ground use your mouth to carry your weapon" she advised watching as the girl quickly screwed a service panel closed on her leg before standing "Your going to do fine" she reassured before looking towards a team RWBY or WBY which is also preparing "team RWBY we'll take your leader into the main sight, when we get there I want all three of you to secure the area" she ordered as I looked Ruby over fastening some ties Rapping her none metal leg, pulling her close and helping her tighten her corset before I nodded to Raven.

I crouched down for Ruby to clamber onto my back, her arms seamlessly rapping around my neck her face settling into the back of my head as she rested there, my wife watched this before she drew one of her swords, lifting it up in the air before slashing it down ripping a hole through time and space as she then urssered half the training team through the rift, before she took my arm and fired me through personally, not letting me become emerged with the swirls of black and red as suddenly we where on a torn up cort of Beacon.

Pavement was ripped up, trees where burning, poor innocent flowers where trampled, but most significant, TaiYang was nowhere in sight. "You three, find cover this isn't your fight" Raven ordered at the team who all scoweled but followed her orders anyway all running in just a random direction.

"Are you ok?" I asked Ruby who nodded her armoured little hands gripping onto my shoulders as I studied the area.

"Glad that you could make it" Qrow snarked walking up to us with a wobble, using his weird sword as a crutch as he stumbled up to us "we've been fighting for two weeks and he's still going"
