chapter XVIII: the party

That insatiable woman, she could have told me that before we left, but no that's too hard and now I have to try and make sure every person in this event doesn't get hurt so Ruby doesn't get punished like a wayward slave I just read over the message again before I tossed my scroll away falling back on my grand bed as Ruby lay curled up swaddled in exspencive blankets suckling on a pacifier like a young cub.

The young wolf has been shivering and chattering her teeth all morning, and now my farther gave her a few hours to nap she's finnaly had time to dive under some blankets and warm back up, almost as soon as she got warm she fell straight asleep, I sware the only thing she dose is sleep.

But it doesn't matter, she looks so adorable when she's asleep, I reached forwards and stroked her poofy tail, making it twitch but she wouldn't wake up, my farther has been talking to her for a long time, walking about and playing sports, but Ruby isn't exactly a energetic person.

Well...

She is, she can run a marathon and a half in second but she'll collapse and fall asleep in any soft warm comfortable place.

*squwark*

And then there's that bird, Azrial or aerial or cereal or whatever, that horrible mannoured bird. Snaps it's beak at anything but when it comes to Ruby it will play the innocent game and will be the perfect pet, grooming the young girl's hair and ears treating her like it's own chick

Lets be honest though, with that adorable puppy's face, who wouldn't?

I sighed smiling happily as the young rose continued to sleep her hands and paw like feet flexing and twitching like she was running in her dreams, I smiled moving closer to the girl and softly stroking her shoulder calming her down in seconds as she molted petals.

"Weiss" I heard in the distance as I looked to my bedroom door, seeing my sister standing there with a soft smile on her face. "May I come in? Or am I interrupting something?" She asked as I retracted my hand from the Rose's shoulder.

"Of course, she's asleep anyway" I beckoned inviting my sister to close the door and enter the room, taking a seat next to me and watching Ruby as petals tumbled off her head and onto the bedding.

"Is... That normal?" Winter asked as I shrugged.

"She has a lot of aura" I informed not really understanding it myself, but the girl rolled over showing my sister her face.

"Like a real child" Winter commented before holding out her hand bearly touching the girl "May I?" Winter asked looking to me.

"Just don't touch her tail" i advised watching as the woman stroked over the girl's shoulder, but as soon as her hand got close to her face she growled, a strange huff of sleepy annoyance but it was enough for Winter to raise eyebrows and retract her hand.

"I though you said she was asleep?" Winter said looking at me as I nodded 

"She is, she can smell you" I laughed a bit as I moved closer to the girl, not even careing that much at the grunt the girl gave me as I pulled her upright and against my chest, letting her shuffle around and get comfortable before I moved back against my head board.

"Are you ok with her being like that? I would have though you would have chosen one more ... mature" Winter queried

"Different people have different preferences"i shrugged "turns out I like people who dip their huge ears in my mouth while i sleep" that made my sister laugh.
