"Mummy!" I heard shout though the house, I groaned at first but my mothering instincts kicked in and I jumped out of bed grabbing my night gown and rushing downstairs.

"What is it?" I asked worriedly watching as Ruby dropped her bag to the floor and kicked off her combat boots letting them fall to the floor "is there something wrong?" I asked walking up to her and looking her over.

"Nothing!" She just said rapping her arms around my waist, her tail wagging happily as I chuckled.

"Did you just want a cuddle?" I asked softly as she nodded only a few months in that dorm room of hers and she's back, well I can't complain it's very quite without those two "Well you are very happy, has something good happen?" I asked pulling away from the hug to 'retie my night gown, and yawn slightly.

I love Ruby and a cherish her dearly but she could have picked a time other then six am to wake me up. "I gotta tell you something!" Ruby chirped following my tired yawny body intothe kitchen while I lazily made myself some coffee.

"Well what is it pup?" I asked rubbing her head affectionately, my body ached from pouncing and wrestling with that Fall girl last night. It was a good party though, but I think Yang had a little too much fun .

"I've got a girl friend!"

"Oh... isn't that nice" I smiled

Who dares defile my baby! I'll kill them if they even consider hurting her!

"She really nice!" Ruby said scrabbling up onto the counter with help from one of the many stools around the house, she giggled and hugged me as I hugged back.

I'll kill this "girl friend" who trys to taint my young baby

"You'll like her!"

"Her name is Weiss!"

"Isn't she your teammate?" I asked as she nodded her tail wagging wildly across the top of the counter.

"Yup!" She giggled nuzzling into my chest, Weiss, Weiss, Weiss... where have I heard that name before?

"What's her full name?" I asked as she stopped in thought.

"Weiss Schnee"

Oh! She's a Schnee! She's also the poor girl I terrified and gave my approval of dating my daughter, but daddy Schnee won't be so happy if she hurts my precious gem.

She's also the girl I've been watching for a month because of her little crush on my pup, I guess she got want she wanted, and that thing what she wanted is my most precocious possession.

I smiled at Ruby before hugging her tightly "wonderful news" I muttered into her ear as she praticaly bounced on the spot in excitement "now! Do you want to help me make breakfast?" I asked merrily as she cheered.

"What's got Ruby all existed?" Raven asked as she ate her bacon sandwich, my pup was eating her breakfast next to me, her tail waged quickly behind her hitting against the sides of the chair "the last time she was this happy was when Yang gave her that Beowolf toy"

"She's in love" I smirked watching as Raven's eyes grew wide and she just watched Ruby happily munch on her cereal.

"Oh" the woman just said putting her half eaten sandwich back on her plate as she leaned back in her chair rubbing her face "ohh" she groaned.
