chapter XXXIII: Penny

"Have you ever noticed that the first years are jerks?" Blake asked as the whole of team RWBY hummed.

"TEAM RWBY, I CHALLANGE YOU!" some first year leader shouted, after literally coming off the airship, I looked up to my sister who nodded pushing me forwards.

"Go show him what your made of Rubes" Yang said as I giggled drawing crescent Rose and bursting forwards in a swarm of petals, smashing the leader into a tree watching as he crumpled into a ball holding his stomach in pain.

"Good job puppy"Weiss praised rubbing my ears as I stood over the body of a seventeen year old crushed like a tin can, my tail wagging happily.

"That's the second team today" Blake groaned coming up to me and giving me a quick pat on the head while Yang patted her hands clean after taking care of the rest of the team.

"Yeah and Rubes has smashed five people against a tree" Yang said pointing to the other trees with equally in pain students curled up under, I was very proud of my work though "and I'm not sure how I feel about her being happy about that"

"We did set a lot of the school's records, and dismounted team CFVY from their post as top team" Blake added.

"Coco wasn't very happy" I giggled remembering the girl's angered face.

"Your dam right red" the girl then growled walking up to to us, but the anger diminished when Velvet pulled me into a hug, signalling for Weiss to growl almost pulling me back to where I was before if not for the rabbit faunas to be hugging me like a teddy bear.

"Can't breath" I gasped before wiggling out of the girl's arms and into Weiss' "hold me" I whimpered feeling her softly rap her arms around my body and holding me a lot softer then the rabbit before.

Weiss practically glared at Velvet before she kissed my cheek, mocking the other faunas as I nuzzled into her face "I still want to fight you Red, one on one" Coco threatened as I growled at her lightly. It's been a month since the evacuation, and a lot of the teams haven't been able to fight or train at all in atlas, it's not much of a surprise when they all want to punch the first thing that moves. "You stole our team's place as professor Rose's favourite students" the girl growled.

"Your team dose cause most of the damage throughout the whole school" Blake said in a matter of fact kind of way, unfortunately fuelling the third year team leader's anger.

"And your team has the lowest attendance through the whole school, how dose someone just go missing for six months!" She complained as I laughed sheepishly "You bearly even participate in professor Rose's lessons, why are your her favourites?"

"Well..." Yang as about to say as our Ravenous mother suddenly cut in, appearing seemingly out of nowhere. I'm saying "seemingly" because every faunas heard the flapping of wings aproching, while every human jumped in surprise, apart from Weiss because...

"Because" the samurai just said holding her arms wide open as I giggled latching onto her, Weiss being happy to pass me over to my stepmother.

"Mummy!" I said snuggling into her front while team CFVY... CV watched with shock as the normally very stoic and stabby stabby professor rapped her arms around me.

"My daughter's are half this team" she then said being winded by Yang who easily hugged the woman and lifted us both off the ground "Yang, can you please not brake my ribs" she gasped being put down some time later while she kept me surported in her arms, mainly because I was quite happy just nuzzled into her chest.

"Favouritism" Coco growled while the samurai just shrugged.

"All teachers have their favourite, and besides what other team can I throw things at with a justifying reason"  she said rubbing my back, petting my ears softly "and in my opinion-
