"Weiss you've got a message" I said as the young woman checked the device.

"Curse you and your good hearing" Weiss sighed sitting down next to me looking at the black bird that sat on my lap "Can you check with your parents that you can go to Atlas?" She then said looking at me.

"Azzy go on" I said holding the bird up, it looked at me me for a seconds

He said before flying though a open window "I think Azrial was ment to protect you and stay with you then not be used as a messenger bird" Weiss said watching the black raven fly off "How do you understand them anyway?" Weiss asked as I looked at her confused.

"I don't understand them, I kinda just know what their saying, mummy has hole conversations with the birdys while I can only understand a few words" I pouted looking at my girlfriend who was surprisingly happy " are you ok?"

"Just perfect" she sighed with a smile, before she dragged me onto her lap, pulling me into a bone crushing hug

"Need air"i choaked out as I was squished, Weiss loosed her grip a little letting me breath but she never stopped hugging, my tail just started to wag as I hugged back not understanding why Weiss was so happy but i like her when she's huggy.

"I'm sorry it's just my farther has invited us both to a party" Weiss sighed removing her arms from around me, but I stayed hugging.

"No, put them back" I mumbled making her laugh and rap her arms back around me rubbing my back softly.

"Ok needy puppy" she teased kissing my forehead, making her smile, but this moment was ruined when the door suddenly opened.

"Oh, am I interrupting anything?" I heard my stepmother say as both me and Weiss pushed each other way.

"No professor" Weiss almost squeaked blushing brightly while I just got up and hugged the woman.

"Alright, up you come " Raven said scooping me off the ground and making me giggle as she held me on my shoulder. "spill to me why you want to go to Atlas" she asked me but Weiss was the one to speak up.

"My farther wants to invite both of us to a formal event" Weiss said as my stepmother nodded.

"Sure then, as long as it's Jacques" she just agreed, as Azrial landed back on my shoulder "How long are you going to be gone for? A week?"

"Five days" Weiss said smiling at my stepmother and me as I sat on the samurai's shoulder.

"Yeah that's ok, I trust you with Ruby, and Jacques will dig his own grave before he let's her get hurt" Raven said before she lowered me to the ground letting me get my baring before she removed her hands from under my arms "I thought it was for some stupid reason" she laughed before leaving.

"We leave in two days, it would be best if we start packing" Weiss said looking down at me as I whined.

"But that takes so long" I complained making her laugh
