Chapter 17- Awkward Hug

Leon's POV:

"Oh... Hey Lara..." I say glancing at her smiling.

I thought it was Violetta at first... I can't get her off my mind!

"What are you doing in the park? Shouldn't you be at the motorcross?"

"Um no... I'm taking a break from the motorcross"

"Why?" She asks a little upset.

"Because I want to spend more time at the studio" I said slightly grinning at her.

"Oh! You're dad let you come back to the studio?" She asks excitedly.

"Yeah..."

"I'm so happy for you!" she says smiling.

Then, she throws her arm around me and we hug for a few seconds...

"Erm... Thanks" I say pulling away.

At that moment, I see Violetta standing behind us...

Violetta's POV:

Lara has already beat me to Leon and hugged him before I could even get over there! She's charmingly fast! It's hard to believe that people actually are fooled by her "sweet and bubbly" image she has put out for herself.

Leon's gaze shoots towards me and he awkwardly backs away from Lara as they are sitting on the bench.

"Violetta?"

"Um Hi... I was just going for a walk..."

Lara glares at me as Leon looks shocked. I can't tell Leon about her in front of her so I need to get out of here!

"I'm gonna go now..." I say walking away.

Leon tries to run up to me.

"Wait, Violetta!"

Luckily, he gives up and I manage to get away.

Tomas' POV:

I'm walking on the street and I see a girl running really fast.

At the same time, there is a group of bicyclers coming her way.

My only instinct is to push her out of the way. So I did.

"Watch out!" I say grabbing her waist and pulling her towards me.

Our noses touch as the cyclers stroll by and I realize who I just caught.

"Oh... Hey Violetta"

"Hi Tomas"

Violetta's POV:

"Um... Thank you" I say nervously as he lets go of me.

"You're welcome... Just be careful okay?"

I grin. "Okay I will."

"So... What were you running from?"

"Leon and Lara" I say slightly regretting it. I doubt Tomas wants to deal with my situation. I shouldn't drag him into my problems.

"Ohh... Who's Lara by the way?" He asks.

"She's Leon's ex..." I say awkwardly.

"Oh" Tomas says. "Well is she pretty?" Tomas jokes.

I playfully hit him on the shoulder.

"I'm just kidding... Anyways, what's up with her?"

"Leon doesn't deserve her... I mean I'm scared that she is going to change his mind about coming to the studio!"

"Why?"

"Because... I care about Leon"

"You're not together with him still, are you?"

"We're not together but it doesn't mean I stop caring for him?"

"I see..." Tomas says sighing. "But don't you want Leon to move on?"

"Not with her..."

"Well what are you going to do about it?" Asks Tomas folding his arms.

"I don't know... I guess there is nothing I can do"

"Exactly... You have to let Leon decide things for himself... And if he does that, then he won't let Lara influence him to leave the studio"

"I guess you're right... Thanks Tomas"

"No problem" he says smiling. "I have to go now, but I will see you later"

"Okay, see you" I say grinning.

I don't really like this chapter that much and I'm getting a bit of writer's block so For the next chapter I might do a time lapse👍
