Kabanata 48: Pumili ka

Nanghihina akong nakaupo ngayon sa may sala, halos hindi pa maproseso lahat ng nangyare. Tanya Mendoza is guilty for the defamation that Markus filed last Saturday night. Si Tanya ang itinuturo na nagtulak dito para isiwalat ang ganoong eskandalo. She wanted Markus so much that resulted telling all the lies to her accomplice but it just backfire to them. Markus is suing the entire accomplice including Tanya Mendoza but he never thought that it will results her to kidnap our son.

Napaamin nga ang kalaban ni Mayor sa politika na nagawa niya ito dahil akala niya ay totoo lahat ng impormasiyon na ibinigay ni Tanya dito. Tanya approached him and said that she will help to taint Mayor Fuentes name by using me and Markus name. She is the culprit also regarding the photo that was showed last Saturday. Nang maikuwento ng lahat sa akin ni Markus ang nangyare sa imbistigasiyon niya ay lalo na akong nagalit kay Tanya. Simula palang ay ginawa niya ng miserable ang buhay ko at hanggang ngayon ay nagiging mas tuso pa ito. Dapat noon pa ay kinasuhan ko na ito hindi ko na dapat pa ito binigyan ng pagkakataon. Ang katulad niya ay hindi nararapat dito sa mundo at ngayon pati ang anak ko na walang muwang ay dinamay nito.

"You are crazy Tanya, you are obsessed and now you are really a criminal. Don't stoop down low any further and I will tell you that you can never have me. Whatever happens to my son I will going to resent you for the rest of my life. If you are not afraid to be put in jail you better behave yourself and return my son unharm."

"You have no right to tell me what I should do! Yes I'm crazy and I'm crazy inlove with you! Now if you want your son alive exchange yourself for him. From the beginning you are the only one that I want, come with me and I'll free your son."

Ito naman ang huling pag-uusap ni Markus at ni Tanya sa telepono nito. Halos magmakaawa naman ako kay Markus na iligtas ang anak namin. Tanya give us a thirty minutes time to think and she will call back, she want to hear Markus answer before making her decision.

"Markus what we're going to do?" nangangatog kong salita habang ramdam ko na din ang matinding takot.

"I will save our son and I promise you that, for now please trust me and listen to me." as Markus said with full of confidence on his voice.

Kahit papaano ay nakaramdam ako ng ginhawa dahil sa sinabi nito. I nodded at him telling him that I will trust him. Josh didn't deserve this and at his young age I just feel so sorry for my son. Ipinagdasal ko na lamang na malalampasan din namin ito.

After thirty minutes Tanya called back she tell us all her conditions before giving us their location. We hurriedly went to the parking lot, when we are both inside the car Markus dialed on his phone and his calling for Mayor Fuentes asking for police assistant. Sinabi nitong lahat kung ano ang nangyare at ng matapos ay gulat pa akong nakatingin dito. Ngayon naman ay may inilagay si Markus sa kaniya at sa aking damit. Ito ay isang maliit na camera recorder at kakailanganin namin ito para mas madiin at makasuhan si Tanya. 

"Markus what are you thinking? Tanya said no police, she allowed only the two of us. Tapos ito pa paano kung mahuli niya tayo." Tanong ko na dito pagkatapos ng kaniyang ginagawa.

"Baby please trusts me on this."

Iyan lamang ang naging salita ni Markus sa akin at natahimik na lamang ako ng tuluyan. I know I promised him but if it is for my son's sake I can't just sit here and wait for the consequences. Markus held my hand like assuring me that he can handle this, I can feel my eyes are watering. Iyong takot na naramdaman ko noon sa aking buhay ay doble pang takot ang naramdaman ko ngayon para sa aking anak. I just want my son's security but I can't think anymore for a proper way on how to save him. Tanya is holding our neck by using our son to get Markus but Markus having also another plan against her.
