Kaila P.O.V.
"Hey, babe," I heard Kalin call from the other side of the little boutique in the mall.
I walked up to him and saw him looking at a bunch of rings in a display case, "What's up?"
"He pointed to one of the rings, "Do you like that one?"
I looked at it and it was beautiful, I shrugged my shoulders, "Yeah, it's gorgeous."
He looks up at the older woman behind the counter and they smiled at each other. She opened the case and picked up the ring, handing it gently to Kalin.
I watched as he got down on one knee. He grabbed my hand and smiled brightly at me. My other hand flew to my face and covered my mouth. I looked around the store and saw everyone's eyes on us.
"Kaila," started Kalin, "We have been together for five years, but I feel like I've known you all my life. Will you make me the happiest guy in the world and marry me?"
I was too busy crying to reply, so I just nodded my head rapidly as a response. Kalin slid the ring on my finger and picked me up, spinning around in a circle. The people watching erupted in applause and congratulated us.
"I love you, Kai," he said placing a kiss on my lips.
"I love you, too!"
