"So? What's happening?" Mama asked while her brow was in full arch.

Gosh! Ako iyong nate-tense para kay Andrei, e! Nandito kasi siya sa bahay at sumabay siya sa amin ng lunch para makausap sina Mama at Papa.

Tumingin ako kay Andrei pero mukha namang hindi siya kinakabahan. Normal pa rin naman ang itsura niya ngayon.

"Tita... Tito..." Andrei said habang tinignan isa-isa sina Mama. "I want to apologize for leaving your daughter without saying anything," he continued.

"You should be apologizing to Nariah, not to us," Mama replied. Ang sungit!

Andrei nodded. "I already did that po."

"Andrei, honestly we're not mad at you. We're just disappointed with your decision to not tell my daughter your reason before. But I'm glad that you're back," seryosong sinabi ni Papa kay Andrei.

Kinakabahan ako kay Papa kasi ang serious niya masyado habang sinasabi iyon. Pero glad naman daw siya... kahit hindi ganon sa pakiramdam. Nakaka-tense na talaga.

Mama and Papa started to ask us about some things. Mukha namang medyo okay na... After the lunch, nasa garden kaming dalawa ni Andrei habang kumakain ng dessert.

"Thank you," Andrei said, looking straight into my eyes.

Kumunot ang noo ko.

"For holding on to me even though there was no assurance that I'll come back. Thank you for still loving me," he continued.

I smiled and then cupped his face. God. I waited for how many years to be in this situation again. Not giving up was the best choice.

"It was worth the wait," I replied while smiling. We were staring at each other.

Hinawakan niya ang kamay kong nasa pisngi niya. Hinaplos niya iyon. Sobrang sarap sa pakiramdam. "Thank you... Thank you for not giving up." Tears are slowly forming in his eyes. "I love you so much..." he said before he kissed the back of my hand.

"I love you," I replied while smiling.

Akala ko talaga hindi na ulit mangyayari ang ganito. Grabe, sobrang tagal kong naghintay para sa araw na ito.

"I'll set a lunch..." Andrei said nang mahimasmasan na siya.

I nodded and then smiled. "Sure."

"But with my family," he continued.

Nahinto ako saglit. Matagal na rin akong hindi nakapunta sa bahay nila dahil sa nangyari. Miss ko na rin si Andrea dahil sobrang busy na namin pareho.

I nodded again. "When?" I asked.

"Tomorrow lunch."

"Bukas agad?!"

"Why? Aren't you free tomorrow? Let's just move it in Saturday," he quickly replied nang mapalakas ang boses ko dahil sa sinabi niya.

I was quick to shook my head. "No. I mean, free ako bukas. Nagulat lang ako na bukas kaagad," I answered.

A smile slowly appeared in his face before he pulled me in a tight hug. "I missed doing this," he said and I felt him planting soft kisses on the top of my head.

Hay. Ang sarap sa feeling. This moment will forever be treasured.

Andrei was smiling as I walk down the stairs. Ang gwapo naman talaga!
