Alex's POV

We arrived at our destination na then decided to sit on one of the bench there with a breathtaking view, we then continued to talk.

"with ate? Jax, you're not attached, you're inlove with her." I said, I know they're both inlove with each other, how could he even say he just got attached.

"for me, it's the same thing, Alex. We planned everything out, she told me we'd both be successful doctors someday then we'll have 3 kids and a house which is bigger than SM." he said, his tone was bittersweet, seems like he's still hurting.

"tas nasaktan ka nung naghiwalay kayo? Is that what you mean? " I asked.

Jax grinned, a painful grin "no, my point is, no matter how much time you've spent together , how miles you've walked, countless plans you've created, if the persons decides to leave, they'll leave. I'm left with nothing but memories, Alex. Yun lang naman yung napapanghawakan ko." he answered. Jax seemed so serious, he maybe trying for me to avoid those scenarios.

I know na aattach na ako and maybe he wants it to stop? "so being attached is a shit? " I asked.

"yeah, not just because a person is there for you that doesn't mean they'll stay with you. Minsan when they found someone better they'll stick to them, which fucking sucks by the way. People who stays with you are the people who you need to give importance to, if they choose to go, then fucking let them."diretso sa mata ko siya nakatingin and every word he says feels like hitting my heart again and again.

"but Trip's not going anywhere, I hope he'll stay." sabi ko, I hope hindi na siya mag bago, its hard starting a day without someone whom you used to be so close to.

"hopefully but who knows?" he said at sinipa yung maliit na bato sa harap niya. "I just really thought things were permanent, permanenteng mananatili sa buhay mo. Turns out hindi naman pala ganon."

I was blown out by how deep his mind set is, I like those kind of people who are open of what they really wanted to say.

"you are deep, I love your mindset." sabi ko sakaniya, he giggled and looked at me in the eye.

"you listened pretty well, I hope that implies on you." sabi niya then stood up, "I'm kind of starving, how about you?" he asked, tumango naman ako then stood up to catch on him, he was walking pretty fast.

"so uhh, Jax. " I called out to him since he was walking fast "what's up with you and ate? What happened na? "I asked since yun naman yung pinakadahilan bat kami mag kasama ngayon.

He stopped walking for me to catch up para mag ka dantay kami sa paglalakad "yeah right, your sister, I don't know where to start with her, she uh kind of refused to talk to me the last time, what should I do? "

Ate is just being pabebe with him,  I know she wants Jax back pero I guess she's still trying to test Jax out. "call her, now. " I said, maybe ate will answer it's still early sakanila and I remembered na afternoon ang classes ni ate pag ganitong araw.

"what? As in now?" nanlaki ang mata ni Jax sa sinabi ko sakaniya but I just nodded para naman may move na siya kay ate.

"come on, tell her that I'm with you and you just wanted to check out if she's good, just like when you're with kuya." sabi then grabbed his phone out of his hands at ako na ang nag open to call.

It took 2 calls before ate answered my call using Jax's phone, "what? " halos mayamot na sagot ni Ate, so sobrang sungit niya pala kay Jax.

"hi ate it's me Alex, I uhh wanted to say hi lang before Jax talk to you." sabi ko then handed Jax the phone, he was mouthing words at me and hindi ko naman maintindihan kaya I just smiled at him then said he got it.

He left a space between us making him inaudible, he was smiling althrough out their talk which made me feel satisfied. After few minutes of standing in here Jax packed up his phone at mas lumapit na siya saakin.

"that's nice, thanks Alex." he said at inakbayan ako, he felt like a kuya to me when he does this. "she's uh shocked daw, I told her that I invited you for a dinner."

He was telling me everything that they had talked about and I can't stop pero kinikilig ako sakanila, it must really be something between them.

"I really think na dapat magbalikan kayo ni ate. Duhh! Bagay na bagay kayo." I said at hinampas hampas yung braso niya, he smiled naman.

"yeah sure." sabi niya then continued walking, we both entered a fancy restaurant with a view of the whole city. Sobrang exclusive nang place na halos may reservation lang ang nakakapasok agad.

He pulled a chair for me bago siya makaupo and we were both staring sa menu, everything seems nice naman kaso hindi ko maintindihan yung sulat, it was on chinese kaso pasta yung mga sineserve.

"uhh nakakain ka na here before? " I asked, he maybe knows what we should both order, baka may alam siyang masarap dito.

He nodded naman and then placed the menu infront of me tas he pointed some green pasta with shrimps on it, looks good naman. "try that one, I know you'll like it." he said at nginitian ako. I looked around to see kung ano pang pwedeng ma iorder, hindi ko lang talaga maintindihan yung sulat.

Jax called out the waiter and they were both talking in mandarin, I didn't knew Jax was speaking this language. They were both looking at me habang patuloy parin na nagsasalita si Jax.

"wow, impressive ha." I said after he had a word with the waiter, he then smiled at me at tinitigan ako sa mata.

"gusto kita ma impress eh." he replied.
