Alex's POV

"no, I mean, we can buy a new one but really we have to sell this one." Dad said. I couldn't agree. Why not stay in this house, it's good.

"but this is still better, what's wrong with this house? " Kuya asked, hindi rin siya sumasang ayon sa gusto ni Dad.

"doesn't feel like home to me, I want something more modern." Dad said, he badly wants to sell this house. "my friend is interested on buying this house."

"why are selling this house dad? We're not." I said, ayoko nang umalis sa bahay na ito eh.

"Por favor, entendamos que tenemos que vender esta casa." Dad said, I couldn't add more baka mamaya pasigaw na ang pag sasalita niya //please understand that we have to sell this house.//

Really, we don't need money to sell this house, sobrang importante ba nang taong yon para ibenta namin sakaniya yung bahay namin.

"I need to be at home, go on do whatever you want." sabi ko at lumabas na, Dad's being so close minded right now, hindi naman siya nakikinig sa suggestions namin, what for para pumunta kami dito.

"lex, come with me." sabi ni Kuya at hinila yung kamay ko papunta sa kotse niya "let's eat."

Usually kumakain kami ni kuya sa over looking dito, we both enjoy baby tawilis atsaka bulalo lalo na sa gantong panahon.

"why do you think dad's selling our house? " I asked, buti na lang at walang masyadong tao kaya naka order at nakaupo kami agad. 

"no idea, he could just buy another one pero sana wag na ibenta yung tinitirhan natin ngayon." he said, totoo nga naman, pwede namang magpagawa nang bago pero wag nang ibenta yung luma.

"true, di ko gets bat sobrang eager niya to sell the house." sabi ko, tumango tango naman si Kuya.

Dumating na yung inorder naming dalawa and we started digging in, Kuya eats a lot, buti naman.

"ate called me last night." sabi ko kay Kuya, he stopped eating at nag angat siya nang tingin saakin, "gusto niya parin si Jax.."

His eyes were worried, alam ko dapat di ko na sinabi para di madagdagan yung mga pinoproblema niya pero anong magagawa ko, kailangan ko nang tulong niya.

"I'm not in favor of what you're having with Jax now, pero I can't neglect the thought na nagiging masaya siya sayo, he had cried a lot lalo na kay Alexandra and now seeing him happy again makes me happy too." he said at kumain na ulit

"I just - I really think that she needs to move on, they're not growing anymore, kaso I can't say that just for my own sake." I said

He nodded " naiisip ko rin yan, Alex. Sinabi ko naman kay Jax na this would cost a lot of damage, lalo na saiyo at kay ate, ayokong mag kaaway kayo pero ayoko din naman na masaktan si Jax just because he can't be with someone he loves."

"she'll be mad, doesn't she? " I asked, alam kong magagalit si ate, alam kong babaliktad ang mundo namin pag nalaman niya yung mga nangyayari ngayon.

"she'll be but she'll understand. You let someone go for them to be happy." Kuya said at ngumiti "better eat fast bago lumamig yung sabaw."

We finished eating at bumalik na sa bahay, Dad was still there sitting, we decided to talk to him again kase baka na offend namin siya sa inasta namin kanina.

"just.. Do what makes you happy dad." sabi ni Kuya sakaniya at tinabihan si Dad sa pag upo, he was still sitting there reflecting.

"no, I'm not selling this house anymore, I'm sorry for being someone I'm not today." Dad apologized, nginitian ko naman siya "but I have decided to have a vacation sa states for awhile with you guys, even just for a week or two, with the Smith's."

Bakit sa lahat nang tao sila pa ang makakasama samin, I mean they weren't bad pero ayoko na sana munang makasama si Kuya specially ate would me around or baka hinde?

"unfortunately, Alexandra wouldn't be around, finals niya." Dad added, nakahinga naman ako nang maluwag, I wasn't up for dramas, buti na lang at medyo busy si ate pag umalis kami.

"but I can't, I'm graduating." sabi ko, I can't just miss classes dahil aalis kami with Jax's family.

"it's after your ojt, you should be fine." dagdag ni Kuya, ayoko naman mapag tulungan kaya sumang ayon na lang ako, besides, I have never been there. "but Tita Jamie's pregnant, she's not allowed to travel."

"she's not coming, we'll be visiting Marco there then we'll be with Jax and his sister." sagot naman kay Kuya, I can see naman na Jaxmine is a matured person, hindi na siya makulit na bata which would be easy lalo na pag nag travel kami. 

"Alex's your ojt ha ayusin mo, baka ibagsak ka pa ni Jax." ni remind saakin ni Dad, Kuya chuckled.

"as if." sagot niya pa, napatingin naman sakaniya si Dad at nahihiya na ako baka mag tanong pa siya kaya I excused my self from them. Umakyat na muna ako sa kwarto ko at kumuha pa nang ilang damit na pwede kong maiuwi.

Naalala kong binigyan ako ni Dad nang pera para maka bili nang formal attires para sa ojt ko next week, pag balik ko na lang sa Manila ako bibili para mas malaki yung mall.

Bumaba na ako with my bag, ilalagay ko na muna sa kotse bago ako bumalik sa sala, kinuha ko na rin yung phone ko sa cabinet.

"kanina pa tumutunog yang phone mo, Alex." Dad said nang makita niya akong hawak yung phone ko, umupo naman ako sa tabi niya. 

50 missed calls from Jax...

Ang hirap din talaga niyang tiisin, how come makakatawag pa siya saakin ngayon eh he told me magiging busy siya for the whole day. 

From Jax :
Dude? What's wrong?

Hindi ko lang talaga siya ma replyan, Dad tried to sneak his eyes sa phone ko buti nalang at naipatay ko agad.

"Jax was sent to the hospital, after departure he had complications sa left ear niya." sabi ni Kuya habang binabasa yung text from his phone.
