Alex's POV 

I frozed , I mean ayoko namang mahalata ni Kuya pero parang naanigas ako sa sinabi niya.

"nope, how did he looked like?" pagsisinungaling ni jax kay kuya, buti na lang at madaling pakisabihan toh si Jax.

"still ugly, he got thin tho. Baka nag aadik?" pang aasar ni Kuya , nako kung alam mo lang kung anong kalagayan niya.

"where's ate pau by the way?" pag iiba ko sa topic, pero napansinc ko lang naman na wala si ate pau so tinanong ko na lang 

Kuya looked at me as if he was pitying or what. Okay naman nako kay Tristan, I mean it still stung a bit seeing him suffering kase once in my life he had been a part of it. Pero kung itinadhana naman kami, di naman kami dapat naghiwalay noon.

"sorry" pag paumanhin ni Kuya when he realized what the topic is about, "she bought something tas babalik sa company, mayt flight pa yon eh." sabi ni Kuya then pushed his cart foward.

mas nauna maglakad saamin si Kuya at ramdam kong sinasabayan ni Jax ang paglakad ko dahil sa haba ba nman nang legs nento babagalan niya pa bang maglakad.

"may itatanong ka ba?" I asked. I can't stop myself asking if he was curious about something.

he then looked at me as if he was clueless, his eyes were blank at parang walang balak sabihin.

"none, I know everything." he simply replied and then continued walking ngunit nakikisabay parin siyasa paglakad ko.

looking at Jax, he seemd so mysterious and quiet. Di ko nga inakalang he'd be so bright and this delightful. 

Kuya just finished grocery shopping then we went straight na sa bahay niya. Jax went home kaya di na namin siya kasama dito sa sariling bahay ni Kuya. This house is huge lalo na para sa isang tao lang pero obviously dito na sila titira ni ate but not until they both get married.

"I know Jax lied, he's not good at it." Kuya said while he was marinating . I looked at him soulfully, his eyes were not mad. They look sad and tired. 

"I just wanted to see him Kuya, I hope its not that bad." I replied. I knew that I had caused a lot of troubles na and including Kuya to my problems. Sobrang nasaktan rin kasi siya when he found out na nasaktan ako nang dati niyang bestfriend.

"it's not that it's bad, Alex. You could've just told me. Lies aren't going to work." he calmly said. I've heared this line many times from him . I used to lie about my relationship with Tristan kase it turns out na alam niya pala lahat and he just kept quiet and he just both caught us red handed.

I gulped down yung namuong laway sa loob nang bibig ko. I don't wanted to get mad but it feels like I have tot ell them everything about my life, bakit ganon?

"it's hard to tell you, I know you'd get disappointed." I answered. 

I tried looking away pero pilit na hinahabol ni Kuya ang mata ko. " disappointed? Alex you're getting this wrong. I had never been disappointed at you alam mong lagi kitang iintindihin. What are you having to make me disappointed?"

"wala,we were just having lunch out."

"that small? Psh, hell no. Alex just let me know who are you with I just wanted to make sure you're safe. Stop fooling me." Kuya snapped out. Alam ko naman na parang nagagawa ko na siyang tanga sa pag sisinungaling ko sakaniya.

Minsan pag nagsalita si Kuya, totoong daig niya si ate. Kasi hinuhukay niya lahat nang problems sa pinakailalim. He's kind and considerate that's why when you've taken that for granted he'd make you guilty about it.

"edi sorry, I'm just scared that I'll cause trouble tas madadamay ka nanaman." sabi ko then stood up.

Badly, I still have to wait for him to finish dahil uuwi pa kami nang tagaytay to send ate to the airport.

After waiting for an hour, we both headed back home at sobrang tahimik lang naming dalawa. I just listened to my earphones while on trip.

Nakakahiya kay kuya yung mga nagawa ko, I'm ashamed and it's just not the time for me to talk to him.

When we arrived home, ramdam ko ang tingin saakin ni Ate. I knew she suspected something wrong between samin ni Kuya. We never entered the house this serious.

"something's off. What happened? " Ate asked me nang umakyat si Kuya sa kwarto niya.

Good thing she talked to me, kundi mapapanis na lahat nang laway ko dito sa bahay.

"nag away kami, he saw me eating lunch with Tris." I seriously said.

Ate somehow patted my back "what did Kuya said? "

"he's not mad about me seeing Tristan again, he's just mad because I lied." I explained.

"oh that's you're wrong nga naman. You should've just told him who'll you be with para di na siya nagalit."

"it's just scary dahil baka mag cause nanaman ako nang trouble and included nanaman siya."

"pero aren't you trying to do that, without telling him. Kase mangyayari at mangyayari yon lalo nat di ka nagsasabi sakaniya."

I stopped and then reflected, may point si ate and I knew where she was coming from. Andami na rin kasing nangyari before tas si Kuya lagi ang napapagalitan ni Dad pero ang totoo ako naman ang may kasalanan.

"you should tell him ha, lalo nat I'll be leaving this house for a long time." ate said before turning her back at me.

I just spent my time reading books sa sala, malapit na rin naman kaming umalis kaya mas mabuti dito na lang muna ako sa baba, mamaya makatulog pa ako sa kwarto.

Ramdam ko naman ang paglubog nang sofa kaya tinignan ko kung sino ang tumabi saakin.

Nanlaki naman ang mata ko, ang alam ko ay di na siya pupunta pa dito, pero bakit? 

"o-oy, what brings you here? " I asked.
