Alex's POV

"I came here to say goodbye." Jax answered while smiling, his smile was bitter. Parang di masaya at halatang pilit.

"ooh okay, tamang tama lang yung pag dating mo." I told him then stood up.

I went to the kitchen para may maihanda kay Jax na pagkain kahit papano, Ate then asked what am I doing

"oh Jax came, he wants to talk to you." I said then smiled at her. I know she still wants him and I can sense that he wants my ate back too.

"Alex." mapag badyang tawag saaken ni Ate "I still can't, I'm sorry." sabi ni Ate then turned her back at me then walked fast.

Okay? She's still hurting. I just brought the snacks tas nilapag sa harap ni Jax at umupo nako sa tabi niya. He looks confused marahil ay nakita niya nga si Ate na umakyat at parang nililikom yung sarili niya.

"my bad, I should've just stayed at home." mapait na sabi ni Jax. Ramdam niya rin palang nasasaktan pa si Ate from their break up, matagl na rin pero parang sariwa pa rin yung sugat.

"it's alright Jax, cheer up." I didn't even how come I said those words. Alam kong wala ako sa posisyon to tell him to cheer up dahil yung ate ko yung nasasaktan niya

Jax smiled at me at binawasan ang juice na hinain ko sakaniya "I better get going, baka di na umalis ate mo pag nakita niya pa ako eh." he jokingly said then stood up.

I laughed, hayop din talaga tong tao na toh sa confidence niya noh.

"alright, ingat ka." I told him bago pa siya tuluyan na maka labas nang gate.

"what brings him here? " Ate asked as if she was waiting for Jax to leave para maging maayos siya kausap.

I looked at ate, her eyes were red even her nose looked funny too.

"he actually just wanted to say goodbye." I said, ate bursted out crying and niyakap ko na lang siya.

She should've just talked to Jax para nag karoon sila nang conversation atsaka para aalis din si ate na walang heavy heart.

"it's still hard for me Alex. Sana naiintindihan niya ako." she said then continued crying.

"what happened ba? It's been so long, di ko na maalala." I asked her to repeat their love story, I just wanted to know kung tama at aakma ba yung mga bibitawan kong salita sa kwento nila ni Jax.

Ate and I sat down and asked manang for some hot tea. The tea was about to spill so I wanted something to sip on. (sana gets ha)

"sobrang perfect couple namin ni Jax before, although he studied somewhere else, buti na lang at nakilala ko siya. Jax was sweet, he kept posting pictures of me, sending me long sweet messages." she started, oh boi ate's eyes were damn teary.

"oh, edi where did it went wrong? " I asked. They seemed so perfect nga, Jax was fine din. I don't know what's going to be the cause of their break up.

"he didn't changed at all, he was like courting me every single day na we're together, he went home to stay pero di natuloy and I told him na hindi ko kaya. Na masasaktan ako, na baka iiyak lang ako nang iiyak. And he got scared and told me na I could come with him and live with them sa states." Ate stopped talking and and started to cry more. She was badly reminiscing their memories together.

"then you chose not to? " I asked.

She nodded "malapit nakong gumraduate, aalis pa ba ako? Mom and Dad were in favor naman dahil malaki ang tiwala nila kay Jax besides his living with his family."

"you broke up with him? "

Ate grinned, mapait na ngisi.

"no, he broke up with me." she simply answered then may sumingit na luha sa mata niya. I broke down at naluha na rin ako sa storya niya. It's heart breaking.

"aalis na tayo, why are you both crying? " Kuya asked na nakasandal sa may pintuan.

He went to us and then patted our back, "I saw Jax's car, he went here? "

Ate nodded and then stood up "wag na naten pag usapan, alis na tayo hehe." she forced a smile and then went out.

Kuya looked at me na parang di kami nag away kanina "pangit mo noh pag naiyak." he said then smirked. I punched him sa arm niya and then stood up at sinundan na si ate..

Nakasalubong ko si Dad and he looked at me, marahil ay mapula pa yung mata at ilong ko.

"what happened to you? Where's Alexander? " nagtatakang tanong ni Dad saakin. I laughed and made him more confused.

"never mind Alex, Dad. She's crazy." sabi ni Kuya.

"okay, matagal naman nang baliw yan, di pako nasanay." okay pinag kakaisahan na nila ako dito. "where's ate? Aalis na tayo." Dad said and then gazed upstairs.

Bumababa na si Ate with her luggages at tinulungan naman siya ni Dad at ni Kuya.

Ate stopped and looked at the house before stepping out.

"ayoko na yatang umalis." she jokingly said, Kuya laughed, tanging siya lang ang tumawa.

"you know that you can always stay here." Dad said. "it's not like, I'm forcing you to study abroad but-"

"I chose this path, Dad. Kakayanin ko toh." Ate said then continued walking.
