Alex's POV

"hi Gladys, san yung works ko for today? " I asked, nakangiti naman si Gladys na inabot saakin yung mga papeles, it was heavy sana hindi ito proofreading kasi sobrang sakit sa ulo nang ganon eh.

"anyways, pinapasabi ni sir na kumain ka muna daw so he asked me to prepare some meals for you." sabi niya at binuksan yung main office ni Jax which is puno nang pagkain dun sa may table ko,

"sabayan mo na kong kumain, hindi ko mauubos yan magisa eh." sabi ko kay Gladys ngunit ngumiti siya na parang ayaw niya akong sabayan, I mean I won't care kung makikikain siya sa pag kain ko, we're all the same.

"si-sige lang po, I uhh have works to do." she excused herself, wala naman akong ibang magawa dahil nga baka uncomfortable para sakaniyang sabayan akong kumain. Pumasok na ako sa office and started eating piece by piece, may kumatok naman sa pinto and I stopped eating to see who it was.

"wow, canteen? " she asked, I rolled my eyes pero hindi ko na siya pinansin, as if hindi niya pa ko kilala dito. Lucy strolled out at tinignan yung mga picture frames sa gilid and she sat on Jax's swivel chair. "where's Jax? "

"on plane." simple kong sabi sakaniya then continued eating, tinignan ko naman yung binigay na mga papel saakin ni Gladys and to find out na may note na nileave si Jax doon.

Send this papers to your brother for him to sign,  don't stress yourself out. Eat well.

"hmm okay, since they're not around, I can tell you a little story." she said at umupong maayos sa upuan at tinignan ako nang diretso sa mata, "Jax and I were something, nagugulat ako what was he doing with you eh alam niya na ngang andito na ko. Like? Gurl, stop ruining our relationship. You'll never be enough for Jax. Skunk."

Nginitian ko naman siya, wala naman na kong pake what she would say to me, besides, I know what's with Jax and she's nothing compared to my level. "that's okay, you'll never be enough for him too." I said.

She stood up at lumapit siya sa desk ko, "take back what you said o isusungalngal ko sayo yang hawak mong tinidor." galit na galit niyang pagbanta saakin.

"you know what, Lucy. You're disturbing me with my meal." sabi ko at tinalasan ang tingin ko sakaniya. "I mean if you don't mind to just leave me fucking alone in this office. That would be so so so nice of you."

"masyadong mataas ang tingin mo sa sarili mo, you're not even that pretty." she said at parang walang balak to leave me alone.

"hay, nawalan nako nang gana kumain, ganyang mukha ba naman ang nasa harap ko." sabi ko then stood up and grabbed those papers na dadalhin kay Kuya. "excuse me, ako na lang ang aalis."

I walked my way out habang siya nakatayo lang don na parang tanga, tinignan ko naman si Glayds na mukhang nag aalala sa kung anong nangyayare pero nginitian ko lang siya.

"sup, lex. You got the papers na? " Kuya asked nung pumasok ako sa office niya. Inabot ko naman sakaniya then sat sa tapat niya, ayoko na munang bumalik dun sa office ni Jax, baka nandun pa si Lucy.

"can I stay here for awhile? Andon kasi si Lucy." sabi ko then stared at Kuya while he was busy reading the papers.

"sure, do what suits your liking." sabi niya then continued reading, sa sobrang tahimik rinig ang pag kuskos nang ballpen sa papel na pinipirmahan niya. "are you sure with Jax? Do you even imagine yourself being with him?" Kuya asked out of nowhere.

Napatingin naman ako sakaniya, alam ko naman na matagal niya nang gustong itanong yan saakin eh "yeah sure naman."

"willing ka masira relationship niyo ni ate mo? I mean, I'm not bringing you down pero have you ever thought of that, lex? Kaya mo bang ipaglaban si Jax? " he sincerely asked, I knew I couldn't but I nodded, sana maintindihan ako ni ate. "how about Trip? Kamusta kayong dalawa? Boys are not toys Alex."

"I'm not sure if I can fight for Jax but I'll try, that's what matters right? Yung ipaglaban mo kahit papaano yung taong mahal mo. Trip and I were good, I mean I had feelings for him pero wala na yun ngayon, I've realized that Jax is more than him."

"you can't just say that, Alex. Trip helped you same with Jax, he was there for you on times that you needed them most, are you sure you really love them or you just need them? " he asked and I stopped, parehas nga nila akong natulungan, pero kasi I'm really onto Jax and si Trip, marahil nga ay attached lang ako and nothing more to that.

"I-I know but they're different, Jax is someone whom I love, tas si Trip. Trip is my bestfriend. Magkaiba yun diba? " pag uulit ko, Kuya looked like he wasn't happy with what I had said kaya naman tinitigan niya ako nang mabuti.

"Hindi naman porket bestfriend mo lang si Trip ay hindi mo na siya mahal, I have bestfriends too but I love them as much as I love my partner." he started "you call Trip a bestfriend but it turns out you're using him, I'm not arguing with you Alex but I want you to decide are you really sure about everything lalo na kung pag bumalik si Trip."

"I'm not using Trip, I'm just saying that there's difference between him and Jax." I said, tumango naman si Kuya at nginitian ako.

"okay then, better be at Jax's party tomorrow." sabi niya at inabot saakin ang mga papeles na pinirmahan niya. "Gladys knows what to do with this, just hand her this papers." habol pa niya bago ako bumaba.

Sana pagkababa ko ay wala na si Lucy don which is good dahil nga wala na siya dito sa office ni Jax, kaso wala din si Gladys.

"hi Alexis." halos mapatalon ako sa boses ni Jax pag pasok ko sa office niya
