Alex's POV

"you sure? Late na eh, pwede ka naman bukas nang umaga umuwi." sabi ko kay Jax nang ihatid niya ako sa tapat talaga nang room ko, it was 12 in the morning at baka mapano pa siya, so I decided to invite him to stay for the night.

"no na, may flight pako later." he said which made me worried, sana he stayed at home na lang para makapag pahinga nang siya for his next flight, making money wasn't easy talaga.

"sige na, it's better to be safe, dito ka na matulog." sabi ko at binuksan na yung pintuan, "groggy ka na nga eh."

"I want to but really can't. I'm tired but I have to keep my job, Alex. I'll just see you soon. Okay? I'll call you when I get home." sabi niya and then hugged me before leaving. "sleep tight, here's your tart,dude."

I giggled, "thanks dude, drive safe." sabi ko then entered my room na, as usual I fixed myself dahil late na and I badly wanted to sleep na.

Kinabukasan

I missed my morning class dahil late na ako nagising, mamaya pang 12 yung next class ko and luckily kaklase ko si Trip doon.

"really? You should've gave yours then I'll give you mine." Trip said, pauwi na kasi kaming dalawa since wala nakong susunod na klase, student rally bukas kaya naman wala na halos napasok na teachers.

They decided na itaas yung tuition fee for next sem dahil sa funds for school, tho aviation school should be consistent with its finance, hindi ko na alam anong nangyayare dito.

"no way, it's special." giit ko sakaniya which made him giggled, I was happy that he's fine di gaya yesterday. "may pasalubong pala ako sayo, kaso nasa ref pa eh. I'll give it to you later." I said

He then nodded at me, "sure and I uhh have something to tell you later." sabi niya and smiled at me, my heart was in a rush na parang tumakbo ako sa isang buong field non stop, I knew my cheeks were turning red.

Jax haven't called me yet, nor texts, sana he's safe, hindi ko naman siya matawagan because he's out of reach. Maybe he's still on a flight. Oh boy.

"Alex!!!! " Tara called me out from the hallway at agad niya akong niyakap,  her hair turned pink and I can't say anything but damn it suits her. "oy ah, where's my pasalubong? "

Kinuha ko naman sa bag ko yung pasalubong ko for her and she was smiling like hell, "you liked it? " I asked.

Tumango tango naman siya saakin, "Thanks, Alex. This is a lot." she said at nalipat naman ang tingin niya sa katabi ko then she nodded at Trip. Trip smiled at her then he waved.

"you look cool with that pink hair, Tara." he complimented, Tara pushed her hair back para naman ipakita na maayos na maayos ang pagkakakulay nito. It must've hurt bleaching her hair.

"‘course, Timothy. Thought you'd be dying your hair blonde?" she asked. I didn't knew they were this close, akala ko it's their first time meeting each other.

"nah, doesn't suit me. It's better brown." sagot naman ni Trip at ginulo gulo ang buhok ni Tara. "oh, she's my classmate sa phil. Sleeping from 10 to 1." Trip added. Sinamaan naman siya nang tingin ni Tara.

"anyways, una nako ha. Birthday kasi nang mom ko ngayon pati nang daddy ni Jax." she said and waved her hands at us bago kami talikuran, baka nga busy si Jax ngayon dahil sa preparations.

We both headed back to our places, naisipan kong mag shower muna bago bumaba dahil galing kami sa mechanical area kanina nang mga airplane and I smell like fuel na.

After that I grabbed those tarts sa ref then went down para ibigay kay Trip. He opened the door at pinapasok ako agad, same lang naman malinis parin yung lugar at sobrang bango.

"smells good, what are you making? " I asked, I think he was baking something so good dahil nangangamoy sa buong place niya.

"chocolate chip cookies, wait I'll grab some for you." he said at pumunta na muna sa kusina, I was wandering around his place nang makita ko yung napaka kapal na folder, it was heavy yet sobrang bago nang papers. It was so white at wala pang yupi yupi.

"petition?" I asked myself, it was his picture and his full name with a petition on top. Anong petition? "Trip are you leaving?" I asked.

Bumalik naman siya mula sa kusina at tinignan ako sa mata, "I was about to say that to you." he said at kinuha yung folder na hawak ko. "look, I know this is too much for you lalo na't ngayon lang tayo nang kakamabutihan, I'm sorry Alex. I need a family." he said at tinry na hawak yung dalawang kamay ko.

I started crying at sobrang nagagalit ako sakaniya for hiding something like this, petition papers can take years to prepare tas ngayon lang toh malalaman. "you know what? You're being selfish." sabi ko then turned my back at him but he was so eager to talk kaya hinila niya yung kamay ko para mag kaharap ulit kami.

"Im sorry for choosing myself this time, gusto ko lang naman maramdaman mag ka nanay." he answered and his eyes were teary pero kinikimkim niya parin yung luha niya, "you know I love spending time with you but wasn't that enough? Spent most of the month with you-"

"that's my point, after mokong i attach sayo iiwan mo nako nang ganon ganon na lang? Trip wala namang laruan nang feelings oh." sabi ko and hindi ko na mapigilan yung pag buhos nang luha ko.

"I wasn't expecting that you'd be this attached, Alex. Hindi ko naman gustong sirain ka, tinulungan pa nga kita buuin yung sarili mo. Alex, masaya ka and you know that, eh ako? Ni wala nga akong matatakbuhan pag wala ka. Wala akong pamilyang nandito, wala akong mahingan nang tulong." he started.

"hindi naman ako mawawala dito, hindi ako tanga para iwan ka." sabi ko "but hiding this thing from me was stupid, nakakaasar ka, nagpakilala ka sa buhay ko para iwan lang ako." I added.

"it's not like that-"

"then what is it? This stupid idea? Ano toh? " galit na galit kong tanong sakaniya.

He kept quiet for a while at tinignan niya lang ako, "ikaw yung nagpumilit na ipasok ako sa buhay mo, Alex. Sorry kung nag expect ka masyado."
