Alex's POV

"okay, sige." sabi ko kay Kuya, nagkatitigan lang kami for awhile and his eyes went teary, I hugged him tight and started rubbing his back.

"weird, ang baho mo na Alex." he joked again and didn't failed to make me laugh. Inamoy ko naman ang sarili ko, hindi naman ako mabaho.

"ikaw yung weird, pupunta ka dito nang 12 nang madaling araw, you're out of your mind." sabi ko sakaniya, he looked at me in the eyes and said.

"you're gonna miss me naman, so I paid a visit, kawawa ka naman eh." he said at humiga na sa couch, hinayaan ko na lang muna siya doon while I get ready for bed, nagbaba na din ako nang pillows and comforter para hindi siya lamigin and mas maayos ang pag higa niya sa baba.

"are you staying here? " I asked nung makababa ako, he was sleeping pero agad din naman siyang naalipungatan nang kumutan ko.

"yeah, saglit lang. Uwi rin ako around 2." he said then sighed, "I wish I could just stay here."

"pwede naman, you can move in if you want." I recommended, alam ko kasing na bobored siya sa bahay niya and same with me, ayoko naman kasi na palaging mag isa na lang.

"but you won't be able to do things that you want pag nandito ako, for sure awkward din kay Jax cause you can't -" I stopped him dahil hindi naman ganon ang ginagawa namin ni Jax dito sa bahay.

"we're not doing anything here, just eating and watching. Nothing else. Wag ka ngang green minded." sabi ko sakaniya, natawa naman si Kuya sa sinabi ko.

"I wasn't pertaining to that, Alex. Baka ikaw ang green minded sating dalawa." sabi niya saakin at ginulo ang buhok ko. We talked for 2 hours pa and then he decided to go home para na din makapag pahinga.

Kinabukasan

"Goodmorning." I greeted Jax nung pag pasok ko sa office, he was pretty casual this day, parang hindi siya papasok sa airport this day, hindi din halata sa pananamit niya na may meeting siya ngayon.

"morning, you're ten minutes late." bungad niya saakin, nginitian ko naman siya nang malaki, I know I was wrong pero kasi nag snooze ako nang alarm at hindi ko alam na sobrang late na pala ko nakabangon.

"sorry, edi 5:10 ako mag out." sabi ko sakaniya then he looked at me, parang mali yung nasabi ko.

"no, di mo ba ko ihahatid? " he asked, naalala ko naman na aalis nga pala siya mamaya, I pouted my lips at napaawang naman siya, "wag mo na ko ihatid, baka di pako makaalis." he said.

I frowned, ayoko naman kasing umalis talaga siya but what can I do, trabaho niya yan. "eh gusto kong ihatid ka, atleast I can make sure na aalis ka talaga? " I said, sinimangutan niya naman ako.

"aalis ako, look at my ticket. I just dont want you to be there. You're going to make it hard for me to leave you." sabi niya saakin then he stood up at niyakap ako.

"hmm, nakakaasar ka naman eh, but sure. Go, what am I going to do here? Anong job ko for the day? " I asked, usually kasi nakahanda na kung anong dapat kong gawin pero kasi wala pa siyang binibigay saakin ngayon.

"wala na halos, everything's finished." sabi niya saakin and checked his watch. "by the way, it's Trip's first day today, he's working for the company. Share ko lang." he said and twiggled his eyebrows. Cute pero parang inaasar niya ako sa lagay na iyon.

"that's good, I guess his staying for long." sabi ko sakaniya, although hiring Trip wasn't a good idea for me, ayoko kasing maapektuhan yung work ko with personal relations.

"yeah, not sure. He still wants to be with his mother which is pretty cool pero ayaw niya din iwan si Tito Cam."

Kinuha ko naman yung bag ko then grabbed Jax his present na dapat naibigay ko sakaniya nung kaarawan niya.

"what's this for? " he asked when I handed him the box.

"you're birthday present. I hope you like it." I said and landed my arms into his shoulders while I watch him open his present.

"you really don't have to do this, you're the best present, bub. But thankyou, I love you so much." he said then stole a kiss from me again.

Time passes and he has to leave already, I was with all smiles kasi we just spent all day at his office, "I'll be coming back soon, I'll call you when I have arrived. Call me whenever you need me. Okay?" then he kissed me one last time before he go.

"I love you, take care. Buhbuh." I said then hugged him tight. I let him go na since his driver was waiting for him. It was almost 5 pero I spent mostly here pa in his office, I looked around and found a paper bag inside his drawer, it was dusty.

I looked inside it at meron itong envelope and a box inside, tinignan ko naman kung ano ang nilalaman nang box na yun and it was a ring with a huge diamond on it. Binasa ko naman yung laman nang papel.

To Alex,
I'm sorry I'm leaving, I shouldn't have to but I need to. We can arrange things, hopefully. Let me marry you. Let me promise you that I'll return and we'll get married. Let's have kids and build our own family. I promise you, I'll be back for you my love.

"Alexandra Fernández, 1608 Tagaytay." I read, tears went streaming down my face for realizing that I was interrupting their unfinished love story.

Tinago ko na ulit yung singsing and I grabbed my stuffs para makauwi na. I was so curious what happened and why he still kept the ring and the letter. Is he still hoping they'd get back together? Was he just using me?

Suddenly, my phone rang and Dad was calling me. When I answered the phone, he was catching for some air and I can hear him sniff.

"Dad, what's up? "
[Alexis, anak. Your brother. Shot himself. Meet me in the hospital.]
