Alex's POV

"sorry, nung hindi ako naka attend nang birthday mo." sabi ko as if I was getting his message clearly pero his eyebrows crossed. Di ko alam ba't nanaman kumukunot ang noo niya ngayong nag sosorry ako.

"I'm not talking about that, I'm telling you that you shouldn't have done that to Pau." he calmly said, why is he on her side, ano ba? Baka kabit din siya nung babaeng yun ha.

"sinaktan niya si Kuya, hindi ba enough na reason yon?" I asked, his jaw was starting to show more at mas humigigpit ang hawak niya sa ballpen. I was shaking, di ko alam anong kayang gawin ni Jax lalo na't may galit siya saakin.

"should I hurt you for hurting me?" he straightly asked. Napa lunok naman ako dahil sa pagiging straight forward niya. I looked at him, sobrang seryoso niyang nakatingin saakin.

I frowned, feel ko I'm drowning with his stares, I clenched my fists at nilapitan siya sa table niya even though he looks so bored and dull.

"hear me out, alam kong kasalanan ko but I was stuck in that fucking elevator for two fucking hours, I tried my best to make it out on your birthday, hindi kami na rescue agad agad." I said while forcing to hide my tears, parang nanunuyo yung lalamunan ko sa pag pigil nang pag iyak ko.

"but you promised. Do you always break promises? " he asked, his eyes were teary at parang inaamo ako nang mata niya while he was waiting for my answer. I looked away. Nadadala kasi ako sa mata niya.

"it's not like that, Jax. I've been trapped. Hindi mo ba naiintindihan." I said at galit parin ang tono nang boses ko.

Tatango tango naman si Jax at tumingin sa baba, "I know, I understand. Sorry." sabi niya, he immediately stood up and left his office. I was out of words kaya iniyak ko na lang yung hindi ko masabi.

After hours of crying while doing my job, finally the clock strikes 5 and it's time for me to go home.

My dtr was already signed at nakasalubong ko na lang si Jax sa pinto when I was about to leave.

"wait for me." he said at hinawakan ang kamay ko, he smiled at me kaya napangiti narin ako dahil sakaniya. Tumango na lang ako and waited for him outside his office.

He was pretty slow at medyo na bored ako sa pag hintay sakaniya. He finally came out and he let a huge sigh bago niya ako lapitan. He was walking slowly at medyo nakakaasar kaya nauuna na akong maglakad kesa sakaniya.

"you brought your car? " he casually asked. Umiling naman ako, nakalimutan ko kasing mag pa gas kahapon so walang gas yung kotse ko kaninang umaga. "good, good."

We reache his car at usually inunahan ko na siyang makasakay, natagalan din siya sa pag pasok. "ano ba yan? Ba't ang kupad mong kumilos? " I asked. Nakakapikon kase parang sinasadya nyang mang asar.

When he entered the car, inabot niya sakin yung bouquet nang flower and he spread his cartolina. "you weren't able to attend my party last night so I guess this could be the perfect time to ask you this." he said at pinagpapawisan pa siya. "Alexis, can you be my girlfriend, officially? " he asked.

I didn't hesitate pero it took me time to say yes, naiisip ko lang kung paano na sila Ate if I say yes, pero paano naman ako if I said no.

"yes! Of course yes! " sabi ko then hugged him tight, his warm lips embraced mine as we are both happy of what we're officially having.

"I love you. Always." he said at mas hinigpitan ang pag yakap saakin. We just hugged for like 5 minutes and I pulled out to kiss him back.

"thank you Lord for my answered prayer." I said at nginitian siya, he took out his phone and he took a photo of me holding the flowers. "are you posting that? " I asked. Tumango naman siya saakin "ate might see it."

"she blocked me on insta, you don't have to worry about that." sabi niya and then hid his phone back to his pocket. "let's have our first officially date? " 

I nodded, while he was driving I checked my phone para makita kung ano yung tinag niya. "and she said yes."

"that's my parents' theme song." he said then clasped his fingers to join the tune. He started to sing and ooh it slowly melts my heart. "oh my heart hurts so good, I love you babe." he was singing while looking at me at halos nararamdaman ko na ang pag init nang pisngi ko.

He parked near the entrance, my stomach was growling at natawa naman siya nang nakita niya yung reaction ko. "nakakagutom pala sa office mo." I joked para mawala yung tingin niya saakin.

"duhh, andun ako eh." he said at hinawakan ang kamay ko while we were walking. Halos lahat nang makakasalubong kami ay natitingin so it was kind of awkward, hindi kasi ako sanay na eyes were all on me.

"how about here? Looks good." I suggested, I know papayag siya, we haven't tried this resturant before and I think this is good. I was planning on treating him kahit ngayon man lang.

He ordered us food and while waiting nakatingin lang siya saakin na natatawa ako sa itsura niya because he was damn serious looking at me.

"you keep staring. What's with my face? " I asked, his eyes never left mine, hindi ko na alam what he was thinking dahil halata sa mukha niyag masaya siya.

"I'm just so happy, Dude. You're finally mine." he said at hinawakan ang kamay ko. Tinignan ko naman siya na parang nag tataka.

"we're on yet dude parin tawag mo saken? " pag sungit ko, he laughed kahit na nakataas parin yung isa kong kilay.

"go on, think. I'll wait." he said telling me to think of something we could call each other.

"BUHBUH!! " sabay pa naming sabi.
